Foreword

Surely our griefs He Himself bore,And our sorrows He carried;

Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken,Smitten of God, and afflicted.

But He was pierced through for our transgressions,He was crushed for our iniquities;

The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him,And by His scourging we are healed.

All of us like sheep have gone astray,Each of us has turned to his own way;

But the LORD has caused the iniquity of us allTo fall on Him.

ISA 53:4-6

God sent His Son to die on the cross for our deliverance and bondage from Satan and his demons. The Devil inflicts sicknesses and diseases among the people. He destroys their lives. The forces of darkness have enslaved the people but Jesus came that we might have life and life abundantly. He paid for our sins and not for our sins but also He carried our infirmities and diseases and by His stripes we are healed. When He came on earth He went around doing good and from villages to cities proclaiming the kingdom of God and healing those who were afflicted with evil spirits and sicknesses and diseases. He called and sent His apostles and the church today to continue the works of God- saving people from their sins and healing people from all the affliction, deception, lies and infirmities from the enemy through the preaching of the gospel, in the power of the Spirit of God and in the name of Jesus Christ.

Therefore, Church let us move forward and advance the Kingdom of God. Let’s go out into the villages and cities bringing souls unto the Kingdom through the gospel and heal many in the most powerful name of Jesus. God gave gifts to our churches. Our Master has said, “Freely received, freely give.” And “In my Name, you shall cast out demons and heal the sick.”

To Him be the glory, honor, power and praise through the Son forever and ever.

Satan is the destroyer and came to cause destruction in this world. He brings sicknesses and diseases. He steals and destroys lives. Our Lord Jesus came to give and restore life- eternal life and abundant life, healthy life and good life.

The Devil came to destroy JN 10:9 “I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. JN 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.

MT 8:16 When evening came, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed; and He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were ill. MT 10:1 Jesus summoned His twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every kind of disease and every kind of sickness. MT 12:45 “Then it goes and takes along with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there; and the last state of that man becomes worse than the first. That is the way it will also be with this evil generation.”

MK 1:27 They were all amazed, so that they debated among themselves, saying, “What is this? A new teaching with authority! He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him.” MK 3:11 Whenever the unclean spirits saw Him, they would fall down before Him and shout, “You are the Son of God!” MK 5:13 Jesus gave them permission. And coming out, the unclean spirits entered the swine; and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea, about two thousand of them; and they were drowned in the sea. MK 6:7 And He *summoned the twelve and began to send them out in pairs, and gave them authority over the unclean spirits; LK 4:36 And amazement came upon them all, and they began talking with one another saying, “What is this message? For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits and they come out.” LK 6:18 who had come to hear Him and to be healed of their diseases; and those who were troubled with unclean spirits were being cured. LK 7:21 At that very time He cured many people of diseases and afflictions and evil spirits; and He gave sight to many who were blind. LK 8:2 and also some women who had been healed of evil spirits and sicknesses: Mary who was called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out,

LK 10:20 “Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven.” AC 5:16 Also the people from the cities in the vicinity of Jerusalem were coming together, bringing people who were sick or afflicted with unclean spirits, and they were all being healed. AC 8:7 For in the case of many who had unclean spirits, they were coming out of them shouting with a loud voice; and many who had been paralyzed and lame were healed. AC 19:12 so that handkerchiefs or aprons were even carried from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out. AC 19:13 But also some of the Jewish exorcists, who went from place to place, attempted to name over those who had the evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, “I adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preaches.”

Part 2God on Sicknesses and Diseases

God’s power shall be displayed whenever there are sicknesses and diseases. He shall be glorified and the people shall know that He is the LORD. There are times others were judged by the LORD that is why they were afflicted by diseases. Curse is upon the wicked.

To come and know the LORDISA 19:21 Thus the LORD will make Himself known to Egypt, and the Egyptians will know the LORD in that day. They will even worship with sacrifice and offering, and will make a vow to the LORD and perform it. ISA 19:22 The LORD will strike Egypt, striking but healing; so they will return to the LORD, and He will respond to them and will heal them.

For the Work of God manifested

JN 9:1 As He passed by, He saw a man blind from birth. JN 9:2 And His disciples asked Him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he would be born blind?” JN 9:3 Jesus answered, “It was neither that this man sinned, nor his parents; but it was so that the works of God might be displayed in him.

We must work His worksJN 9:4 “We must work the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming when no one can work. JN 9:5 “While I am in the world, I am the Light of the world.” JN 9:6 When He had said this, He spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and applied the clay to his eyes, JN 9:7 and said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So he went away and washed, and came back seeing.

JudgmentMAL 4:1 “ For behold, the day is coming, burning like a furnace; and all the arrogant and every evildoer will be chaff; and the day that is coming will set them ablaze,” says the LORD of hosts, “so that it will leave them neither root nor branch.” MAL 4:2 “But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings; and you will go forth and skip about like calves from the stall. MAL 4:3 “You will tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day which I am preparing,” says the LORD of hosts.JER 51:8 Suddenly Babylon has fallen and been broken; Wail over her! Bring balm for her pain; Perhaps she may be healed. JER 51:9 We applied healing to Babylon, but she was not healed; Forsake her and let us each go to his own country, For her judgment has reached to heaven And towers up to the very skies.

1CO 11:24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”

1CO 11:25 In the same way He took the cup also after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” 1CO 11:26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes. 1CO 11:27 Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord. 1CO 11:28 But a man must examine himself, and in so doing he is to eat of the bread and drink of the cup. 1CO 11:29 For he who eats and drinks, eats and drinks judgment to himself if he does not judge the body rightly. 1CO 11:30 For this reason many among you are weak and sick, and a number sleep.

REV 2:20 ‘But I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and she teaches and leads My bond-servants astray so that they commit acts of immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. REV 2:21 ‘ I gave her time to repent, and she does not want to repent of her immorality. REV 2:22 ‘Behold, I will throw her on a bed of sickness, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of her deeds. REV 2:23 ‘And I will kill her children with pestilence, and all the churches will know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts; and I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.

Part 3God’s Provision for Healing and Deliverance

God alone is our Healer. There is none else. In His name we are healed. He gave His Son on the cross to die for our sins, infirmities and sicknesses. By His stripes we are healed. Today, God heals by the power of the Spirit, the shed blood and the name of Jesus through faith in Him.

God is our HealerJER 17:14 Heal me, O LORD, and I will be healed; Save me and I will be saved, For You are my praise.

JER 33:6 ‘Behold, I will bring to it health and healing, and I will heal them; and I will reveal to them an abundance of peace and truth. NU 12:13 Moses cried out to the LORD, saying, “O God, heal her, I pray!” EX 15:26 And He said, “If you will give earnest heed to the voice of the LORD your God, and do what is right in His sight, and give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I, the LORD, am your healer.”DT 32:39 ‘ See now that I, I am He, And there is no god besides Me; It is I who put to death and give life. I have wounded and it is I who heal, And there is no one who can deliver from My hand. 2KI 20:5 “Return and say to Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘Thus says the LORD, the God of your father David, “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; behold, I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the LORD. 2CH 7:14 and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land. JOB 5:18 “For He inflicts pain, and gives relief; He wounds, and His hands also heal. PS 6:2 Be gracious to me, O LORD, for I am pining away; Heal me, O LORD, for my bones are dismayed. PS 41:4 As for me, I said, “O LORD, be gracious to me; Heal my soul, for I have sinned against You.” ISA 19:22 The LORD will strike Egypt, striking but healing; so they will return to theLORD, and He will respond to them and will heal them. ISA 57:18 “I have seen his ways, but I will heal him; I will lead him and restore comfort to him and to his mourners, ISA 57:19 Creating the praise of the lips. Peace, peace to him who is far and to him who is near,” Says the LORD, “and I will heal him.” JER 3:22 “Return, O faithless sons, I will heal your faithlessness.” “Behold, we come to You; For You are the LORD our God.

JER 30:17 ‘For I will restore you to health And I will heal you of your wounds,’ declares the LORD, ‘Because they have called you an outcast, saying: “It is Zion; no one cares for her.”’

Part 4Ministry of Healing and Deliverance of Christ

Our Lord Jesus died on the cross to make us whole and free from evil spirits which took bondage of us emotionally, psychologically, spiritually and physically. Jesus is our life and healing for He ransomed us from sin’s curse and penalty.

His Suffering and DeathISA 53:4 Surely our griefs He Himself bore, And our sorrows He carried;

10

Page 11: Healing and Deliverance · Web viewWhen He came on earth He went around doing good and from villages to cities proclaiming the kingdom of God and healing those who were afflicted with

Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, Smitten of God, and afflicted. ISA 53:5 But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed. ISA 53:6 All of us like sheep have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way; But the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all To fall on Him.

MT 8:14 When Jesus came into Peter’s home, He saw his mother-in-law lying sick in bed with a fever. MT 8:15 He touched her hand, and the fever left her; and she got up and waited on Him. MT 8:16 When evening came, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed; and He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were ill. MT 8:17 This was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet: “HE HIMSELF TOOK OUR INFIRMITIES AND CARRIED AWAY OUR DISEASES.”

LK 4:14 And Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about Him spread through all the surrounding district. LK 4:15 And He began teaching in their synagogues and was praised by all. LK 4:16 And He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up; and as was His custom, He entered the synagogue on the Sabbath, and stood up to read. LK 4:17 And the book of the prophet Isaiah was handed to Him. And He opened the book and found the place where it was written, LK 4:18 “THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS UPON ME, BECAUSE HE ANOINTED ME TO PREACH THE GOSPEL TO THE POOR. HE HAS SENT ME TO PROCLAIM RELEASE TO THE CAPTIVES, AND RECOVERY OF SIGHT TO THE BLIND, TO SET FREE THOSE WHO ARE OPPRESSED, LK 4:19 TO PROCLAIM THE FAVORABLE YEAR OF THE LORD.” LK 4:20 And He closed the book, gave it back to the attendant and sat down; and the eyes ofall in the synagogue were fixed on Him. LK 4:21 And He began to say to them, “Today this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.”

Jesus Healed and Delivered the peopleJN 4:47 When he heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, he went to Him and was imploring Him to come down and heal his son; for he was at the point of death. JN 4:49 The royal official *said to Him, “Sir, come down before my child dies.” JN 4:50 Jesus *said to him, “Go; your son lives.” The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him and started off. JN 4:51 As he was now going down, his slaves met him, saying that his son was living. JN 4:52 So he inquired of them the hour when he began to get better. Then they said to him, “Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.” JN 4:53 So the father knew that it was at that hour in which Jesus said to him, “Your sonlives”; and he himself believed and his whole household.

11

Page 12: Healing and Deliverance · Web viewWhen He came on earth He went around doing good and from villages to cities proclaiming the kingdom of God and healing those who were afflicted with

MT 8:7 Jesus *said to him, “I will come and heal him.” MT 4:23 Jesus was going throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among the people. MT 9:35 Jesus was going through all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness. LK 4:40 While the sun was setting, all those who had any who were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and laying His hands on each one of them, He was healing them. LK 5:17 One day He was teaching; and there were some Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting there, who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem; and the power of the Lord was present for Him to perform healing. LK 6:19 And all the people were trying to touch Him, for power was coming from Him and healing them all. LK 9:6 Departing, they began going throughout the villages, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere. LK 9:11 But the crowds were aware of this and followed Him; and welcoming them, He began speaking to them about the kingdom of God and curing those who had need of healing.

Part 5Ministry of Healing and Deliverance of the Church

God gave gifts of healing and miracles to our churches. And His servants who are sent to share the word and every believer who stands in faith and prayer shall deliver many. It is the work of God and it is our work with Him.

Ministry of the Churches

MK 16:17 “These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; MK 16:18 they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”LK 9:1 And He called the twelve together, and gave them power and authority over all the demons and to heal diseases.

12

Page 13: Healing and Deliverance · Web viewWhen He came on earth He went around doing good and from villages to cities proclaiming the kingdom of God and healing those who were afflicted with

LK 9:2 And He sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to perform healing.LK 10:9 and heal those in it who are sick, and say to them, ‘ The kingdom of God has come near to you.’

1CO 12:6 There are varieties of effects, but the same God who works all things in all persons. 1CO 12:7 But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. 1CO 12:8 For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; 1CO 12:9 to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, 1CO 12:10 and to another the effecting of miracles, and to another prophecy, and to another the distinguishing of spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, and to another the interpretation of tongues. 1CO 12:11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills.AC 4:30 while You extend Your hand to heal, and signs and wonders take place through the name of Your holy servant Jesus.” JAS 5:14 Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; JAS 5:15 and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him. JAS 5:16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.

Part 6The Requirement for Healing and Deliverance

It is God that heals but the bible was clear He heals those who call and believe in Him. The wicked are not healed but judged. Repentance and faith in the name of Jesus is required. Unbelief is the opposite of faith in God. God is not pleased with unbelief.

Faith in GodHEB 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.Ac 28:23 They decided to meet Paul on a certain day. At that time even more people came to the place where he was staying. From morning until evening, he told them about God’s kingdom and explained it to them. Using the Law of Moses and the Prophets, he tried to get them to believe in Jesus. Ac 28:24 Some believed what he said. Others did not.

13

Page 14: Healing and Deliverance · Web viewWhen He came on earth He went around doing good and from villages to cities proclaiming the kingdom of God and healing those who were afflicted with

Ac 28:25 They didn’t agree with each other. They began to leave after Paul had made a final statement. He said, “The Holy Spirit was right when he spoke to your people long ago. Through Isaiah the prophet the Spirit said, Ac 28:26 “‘Go to your people. Say to them, “You will hear but never understand. You will see but never know what you are seeing.” Ac 28:27 These people’s hearts have become stubborn. They can barely hear with their ears. They have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes. They might hear with their ears. They might understand with their hearts. They might turn, and then I would heal them.’ (Isaiah 6:9, 10) Ac 28:28 29“Here is what I want you to know. God has sent his salvation to people who are not Jews. And they will listen!”

MK 11:22 And Jesus answered saying to them, “Have faith in God.” MK 11:23 “ Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him. MK 11:24 “Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you.

LK 7:44 Turning toward the woman, He said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave Me no water for My feet, but she has wet My feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. LK 7:45 “You gave Me no kiss; but she, since the time I came in, has not ceased to kiss My feet. LK 7:46 “ You did not anoint My head with oil, but she anointed My feet with perfume. LK 7:47 “For this reason I say to you, her sins, which are many, have been forgiven, for she loved much; but he who is forgiven little, loves little.” LK 7:48 Then He said to her, “Your sins have been forgiven.” LK 7:49 Those who were reclining at the table with Him began to say to themselves, “Who is this man who even forgives sins?” LK 7:50 And He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”

MT 8:5 And when Jesus entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, imploring Him, MT 8:6 and saying, “Lord, my servant is lying paralyzed at home, fearfully tormented.” MT 8:7 Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.” MT 8:8 But the centurion said, “Lord, I am not worthy for You to come under my roof, but just say the word, and my servant will be healed. MT 8:9 “For I also am a man under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to this one, ‘Go!’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come!’ and he comes, and to my slave, ‘Do this!’ and he does it.” MT 8:10 Now when Jesus heard this, He marveled and said to those who were following, “Truly I say to you, I have not found such great faith with anyone in Israel. MT 8:11 “I say to you that many will come from east and west, and recline at the table with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven; MT 8:12 but the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” MT 8:13 And Jesus said to the centurion, “Go; it shall be done for you as you have believed.” And the servant was healed that very moment.

14

Page 15: Healing and Deliverance · Web viewWhen He came on earth He went around doing good and from villages to cities proclaiming the kingdom of God and healing those who were afflicted with

MT 9:1 Getting into a boat, Jesus crossed over the sea and came to His own city. MT 9:2 And they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralytic, “ Take courage, son; your sins are forgiven.” MT 9:3 And some of the scribes said to themselves, “This fellow blasphemes.” MT 9:4 And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, “Why are you thinking evil in your hearts? MT 9:5 “Which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up, and walk’? MT 9:6 “But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—then He *said to the paralytic, “Get up, pick up your bed and go home.” MT 9:7 And he got up and went home. MT 9:8 But when the crowds saw this, they were awestruck, and glorified God, who had given such authority to men.

MK 5:25 A woman who had had a hemorrhage for twelve years, MK 5:26 and had endured much at the hands of many physicians, and had spent all that she had and was not helped at all, but rather had grown worse— MK 5:27 after hearing about Jesus, she came up in the crowd behind Him and touched His cloak. MK 5:28 For she thought, “If I just touch His garments, I will get well.” MK 5:29 Immediately the flow of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of her affliction. MK 5:30 Immediately Jesus, perceiving in Himself that the power proceeding from Him had gone forth, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My garments?” MK 5:31 And His disciples said to Him, “You see the crowd pressing in on You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’ ” MK 5:32 And He looked around to see the woman who had done this. MK 5:33 But the woman fearing and trembling, aware of what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. MK 5:34 And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace and be healed of your affliction.”

MK 10:46 Then they *came to Jericho. And as He was leaving Jericho with His disciples and a large crowd, a blind beggar named Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, was sitting by the road. MK 10:47 When he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” MK 10:48 Many were sternly telling him to be quiet, but he kept crying out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” MK 10:49 And Jesus stopped and said, “Call him here.” So they called the blind man, saying to him, “ Take courage, stand up! He is calling for you.” MK 10:50 Throwing aside his cloak, he jumped up and came to Jesus. MK 10:51 And answering him, Jesus said, “What do you want Me to do for you?” And the blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, I want to regain my sight!” MK 10:52 And Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith has made you well.” Immediately he regained his sight and began following Him on the road.

In Jesus NameAC 3:1 Now Peter and John were going up to the temple at the ninth hour, the hour of prayer.

15

AC 3:2 And a man who had been lame from his mother’s womb was being carried along, whom they used to set down every day at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, in order to beg alms of those who were entering the temple. AC 3:3 When he saw Peter and John about to go into the temple, he began asking to receive alms. AC 3:4 But Peter, along with John, fixed his gaze on him and said, “Look at us!” AC 3:5 And he began to give them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. AC 3:6 But Peter said, “I do not possess silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you: In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene—walk!” AC 3:7 And seizing him by the right hand, he raised him up; and immediately his feet and his ankles were strengthened. AC 3:8 With a leap he stood upright and began to walk; and he entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God. AC 3:9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God;

AC 3:16 “And on the basis of faith in His name, it is the name of Jesus which has strengthened this man whom you see and know; and the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect health in the presence of you all.

AC 4:30 while You extend Your hand to heal, and signs and wonders take place through the name of Your holy servant Jesus.” AC 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness.

MK 16:15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. MK 16:16 “He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned. MK 16:17 “These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; MK 16:18 they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Part 7The Commandment for Healing and Deliverance

God wants people come to the Light through the gospel and be saved and get healed. He commands and empowers His servants through the Spirit to continue the works of God. Healing and deliverance is a calling and a commandment that we should follow.

Jesus commanded His disciples to continue the works of GodJn 9:2 Jesus’ disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned? Was this man born blind because he sinned? Or did his parents sin?” Jn 9:3 “It isn’t because this man sinned,” said Jesus. “It isn’t because his parents sinned. This happened so that God’s work could be shown in his life. Jn 9:4 While it is still day, we must do the work of the One who sent me. Night is coming. Then no one can work.MT 10:1 Jesus summoned His twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every kind of disease and every kind of sickness. MT 10:8 “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.

Jesus went around teaching from village to village. Mk 6:7 He called the Twelve to him. Then he sent them out two by two. He gave them authority to drive out evil spirits.

Mk 6:8 Here were his orders. “Take only a walking stick for your trip. Do not take bread or a bag. Take no money in your belts. Mk 6:9 Wear sandals. But do not take extra clothes. Mk 6:10 When you are invited into a house, stay there until you leave town. Mk 6:11 Some places may not welcome you or listen to you. If they don’t, shake the dust off your feet when you leave. That will be a witness against the people living there.” Mk 6:12 They went out. And they preached that people should turn away from their sins. Mk 6:13 They drove out many demons. They poured olive oil on many sick people and healed them.

The Power for Healing and DeliveranceAC 10:38 “You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

LK 11:14 And He was casting out a demon, and it was mute; when the demon had gone out, the mute man spoke; and the crowds were amazed. LK 11:15 But some of them said, “He casts out demons by Beelzebul, the ruler of the demons.” LK 11:16 Others, to test Him, were demanding of Him a sign from heaven. LK 11:17 But He knew their thoughts and said to them, “Any kingdom divided against itself is laid waste; and a house divided against itself falls. LK 11:18 “If Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? For you say that I cast out demons by Beelzebul. LK 11:19 “And if I by Beelzebul cast out demons, by whom do your sons cast them out? So they will be your judges. LK 11:20 “But if I cast out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. LK 11:21 “When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions are undisturbed. LK 11:22 “But when someone stronger than he attacks him and overpowers him, he takes away from him all his armor on which he had relied and distributes his plunder. LK 11:23 “He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who does not gather with Me, scatters. LK 11:24 “ When the unclean spirit goes out of a man, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, and not finding any, it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ LK 11:25 “And when it comes, it finds it swept and put in order. LK 11:26 “Then it goes and takes along seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they go in and live there; and the last state of that man becomes worse than the first.” LK 11:27 While Jesus was saying these things, one of the women in the crowd raised her voice and said to Him, “Blessed is the womb that bore You and the breasts at which You nursed.” LK 11:28 But He said, “On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it.”
