More Stuff You Should Know…

† JAM and CORE youth groups will not meet tonight due to Easter. Don’t miss plans for a special bowling event coming next Sunday from 4-6pm. They’ll be meeting at Willow Lanes in Bellevue. † The Nation Civil Rights Museum is planning a special Day of Remembrance to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the death of Dr. Martin Luther King. Our church will be joining an international moment of reflection by ringing our bell 39 times -once for each year he lived - this Wednesday at 6:05pm. Join us in taking a moment to remember. † Hey guys, want to learn more about the Bible and talk about what it means in our daily lives? Check out our Men’s Bible Study Group coming up this Thursday at 7pm in the Koinonia Lounge. † Sunday School classes will resume for all ages next Sunday at 8:30am including our two adult classes that meet in the Koinonia Lounge and in the front Gathering Area. See you next week! † JOSHUA Update: Come enjoy a special program called "Voices of Hope" offering true stories of Hispanic immigrants who have settled in the Fox Valley. This event will be held at Resurrection Church (333 Hilltop Drive, Allouez) on Monday, April 9 at 6:30pm with refreshments at 5:40pm. † The annual Presbyterian Women Rummage Sale is set for Saturday, April 21. Please start setting aside your spring cleaning “treasures” for donation. Watch for the announcement of drop-off dates soon. † De Pere’s New Hope United Methodist Church(1950 Dickinson Road) will be hosting an Electronics Recycling Event on Saturday, April 7 from 9am until 1pm. There’s a fee for most TV’s.

Has it been a while since you’ve eaten off the “good” dishes? Our Presbyterian Women are hosting their Spring Event called “Dinner at Six” on Wednesday, April 18 at 6pm. Come enjoy a catered dinner while seated at a variety of specially designed and decorated tables created by talented church members. Tickets are $10 and will only be available through next Sunday (April 8) to allow time for the catering order. Be sure to get your tickets today for this great event before it’s too late!

It’s going to be like a zoo at the next Presby Seekers meeting! Tuesday, April 10 at 10am, our group for retired folks and friends will welcome Neil Anderson, Director of the NEW Zoo & Adventure Park, as a special guest in the Koinonia Lounge. He’ll share some history and updates on the zoo’s latest programs. Neil will also offer information about the master plan for future expansion. You’ll even

get to meet a live critter or two! Mark your calendar. You’ll be growling if you miss it.

We’d like to send out a big “Thank You” to all the members of our church family who worked so hard to provide us all with a very special 2018 Holy Week. It takes a lot of time, talent, and dedication to prepare all the music, bulletins, dance, projection, sound, Communion elements, and everything else involved so that we could share five special worship services during this important eight day period. Thanks to everyone involved for making it a special week!

Due to Easter, our Contemporary Readers group is moving their April meeting to next Sunday at 5:30pm. The book to be discussed is The Water Will Come: Rising Seas, Sinking Cities, and the Civilized World by Jeff Goodall. The author examines the future flooding dangers expected from climate change and some possible preventative measures. Lee Richardson will lead the conversation. Everyone’s welcome to join even if you haven’t read the book yet.
