How multiroom solution worksWith the HUMAX multiroom solution, you can watch live TV shows and media content on your TV or mobile devices in different rooms .

How to connect H3 and HDR-3000T

HDR-3000T in a room

1 . Connect the aerial to the RF IN . 2 . Use a HDMI cable to connect your HDR-3000T to a TV . Note that you can use

an RCA cable to connect them . We recommend you use an HDMI cable for the best picture quality .

3 . Connect your HDR-3000T to the router over a wired Ethernet cable or wirelessly . When you connect them through a wired connection, insert an Ethernet cable to the ETHERNET port at the rear of the product . If wirelessly, insert the W-LAN stick provided in your HDR-3000T packaging .

4 . Connect an AC power adaptor to the POWER port of your HDR-3000T and then plug it into a power source .

H3 in another room

1 . Use another HDMI cable to connect your H3 to your TV .2 . Connect your H3 to your router over a wired Ethernet cable or wirelessly .

Note that you have to connect HDR-3000T to the same router over wired or wirelessly .

3 . Connect an AC adaptor to DC IN of your H3 and then plug it into a power source .

Note:• It is necessary for both products to be connected to the same router to

support the multiroom solution . • For more information on the cable connection and the network configuration,

refer to the user guide of each product .

How to pair H3 and HDR-3000TAfter successfully connecting your products, turn on them for the initial settings . Follow the on-screen instructions to get started . For more information, you can refer to the user manual of each product .

Live TV+ on H3

When you use the Live TV+ app for the first time, you are required to pair it with the set-top box (HDR-3000T) . Then, follow the on-screen instructions to bring all the channels from the HDR-3000T .

1 . Go to H3 > Home > HUMAX plus+ > Live TV+ . 2 . Select HUMAX HDR-3000T from the channel source list . 3 . Add channels to your H3 . You can see the channel list just like the HDR-3000T .

HUMAX Cast on H3

To control your H3 with your mobile device, you need to install the HUMAX cast . You can download it by scanning the QR code .

1 . Connect your mobile device to the same network as that of your H3 . 2 . Install the HUMAX Cast app on the mobile device . When you install the

Humax Cast app for the first time, the mobile device will scan your H3 .3 . When the H3 recognizes your mobile device, a PIN code will appear on the TV

screen . Enter the PIN code on your mobile device to pair it with the H3 .

With the HUMAX Cast app, you can control your H3 anywhere in your home . Moreover, you can conveniently enter the text with your mobile device .

What you can do with multiroom solution Once the H3 is paired with the HDR-3000T, you can stream live TV channels and play recorded programmes via the HDR-3000T with its 2 tuners . You can enjoy live TV shows on any TV without additional aerial .

Note: Remember that both devices are always connected to the same network over wired or wirelessly .

Watch live TV channel in any room

Watch live TV channels on your H3 even when your HDR-3000T is in a different room . Your H3 does not require additional aerial as long as an aerial is connected to the HDR-3000T .

You can enjoy live TV channel at the same time while someone else watches another channel in a different room .

Play recordings from any box

Play back recorded programmes on your H3 even though they are recorded in your HDR-3000T . You do not need an external HDD to share recordings .

1 . Go to H3 > Home > HUMAX plus+ > Live TV+ . 2 . Press the button and select RECORDINGS . 3 . Select a file . You can play it on the H3 .

Browse and Select Live TV channels

Browse and select Live TV Channels on the H3 exactly as you can do on the HDR-3000T .

1 . Go to H3 > Home > HUMAX plus+ > Live TV+ .2 . Press the / button to navigate the channel list . 3 . Select a channel to watch it straight on your TV connected to the H3 . You do

not need to switch the channel sources .

Mirror mobile device’s screen to big screen

Is there interesting content in your mobile device?

Fling the content from the mobile device to your HDTV . You can enjoy them on a big screen with your family and friends . Don’t worry about the colour or image distortion . H3 is made for the big screen .

1 . Go to H3 > Home > HUMAX plus+ > Wireless Display . 2 . Go to your mobile device and select the wireless display function . 3 . Select H3 from the compatible device list . 4 . Fling the screen to the big screen .

Schedule reminders or recordings from either box

Set up recordings or reminders on your H3 as well as HDR-3000T . You will never miss your favourite programmes .

1 . Go to H3 > Home > HUMAX plus+ > Live TV+ . 2 . Press the button to access the TV guide .3 . Press the left or right buttons to navigate programmes .4 . Select a future programme to schedule . Your HDR-3000T will record it to the

built-in hard disk drive .

With the HUMAX Cast app on your mobile device, you can control your H3 anywhere in your home .

1 . Open the HUMAX Cast app on your mobile device . 2 . Conveniently control your H3 with your own mobile device .

Troubleshooting How to check if they are on the same network

1 . Go to H3 > Home > Settings > Network > Network connection status . 2 . Go to HDR-3000T > SETTINGS > Network Settings > Network Connection

Status . 3 . Check if both gateway addresses are the same .

Cannot bring channels from HDR-3000T• Search channels on the HDR-3000T first . If there is no searched channel on

the HDR-3000T, H3 cannot bring the channel .

There is no channel on H3• Check if the aerial is connected correctly to the HDR-3000T .• Check if the channel source is from the HDR-3000T .

1 . Go to H3 > Home > HUMAX plus+ > Live TV+ .2 . Press the button and select CHANNEL SOURCES . 3 . Select the HDR-3000T from the channel source list .

Cannot schedule on H3 • Check if the EPG type on HDR-3000T is set to IP EPG .

1 . Go to HDR-3000T > HOME > SETTINGS > PVR Settings .2 . Set the EPG Type to IP EPG . 3 . Go to HDR-3000T > HOME > SETTINGS > Network Settings . 4 . Set the Network Server to On .

There is no recording on H3 • Check if you have recorded programmes on the HDR-3000T .

Cannot find HUMAX Cast app • The HUMAX Cast app is supported on iPhone or Android mobile . If you use

iPhone, iOS has to be iOS 7 or later .

HUMAX Cast app does not work • Check if your mobile device is connected to the same network as that of your

H3 .
