DRIVING DIRECTIONS: Palmdale – Pelona Vista Park 37800 Tierra Subida Ave, Palmdale, CA 93551

From 5 freeway : Exit 14 freeway north towards Palmdale/Lancaster, go northeast approximately 35 miles. Exit Avenue S,go left. Make a right at Tierra Subida Ave and continue north to Pelona Vista Park. Park in the 2nd lot on the righthand side– look for signs.From 14 freeway north : Exit Avenue S, go left. Make a right at Tierra Subida Ave and continue north to Pelona Vista Park.Park in the 2nd lot – look for the signs.From 14 freeway south : Exit Palmdale Blvd, go right. Make a left at 5th Street West and continue south to Tierra SubidaAve. Go left and Pelona Vista Park will be on your left approximately _ mile south on Tierra Subida. Park in the 1st lot – lookfor the signs.

THE COURSE: The course consists 40% grass, 5% paved, 55% dirt. Starts with a long grass straightaway before it windsthrough the park and into a long dirt section leading back onto the grass and back through the expo area. This fast pacedcourse features 2 elevation changes, a potential water crossing, and twisting turns on the grass. Each lap is approximately2.5km in length. Races are timed circuits on the course based on category.

THE VENUE: This 73-acre park offers ten lighted soccer fields, two parking lots, a tot lot, picnic areas, and various othersite amenities. Landscape planting features drought tolerant desert plants and drip irrigation.

REGISTRATION: Save $$$ and time, pre-register on-line at: www.sportsbaseonline.com Online registration closesThursday, December 2nd at 11:59PM (Pacific). Race Day registration is available opens at 7:30am and closes 20 minutesprior to each race start.

ENTRY FEE: Online entry fee is $28.00. Race Day entry add $7. Additional races are just $5.00/race. Juniorraces (10-18 CX age) are $5.00. Youth (U10) race is FREE. Kids Fun Race is FREE. Juniors pay regular entry fee forcategory races if NOT entering Junior race. This is an American Bicycle Racing sanctioned event. You ARE insured, but nogoverning body license fee is required.

CYCLOCROSS RACING AGE: A rider’s CX racing age is the 'racing age' they’ll be the YEAR of the UCI CX WorldChampionships which take place in January 30-31, 2011. Therefore, your racing age for the entire cyclocross seasonis based on your age as of 12/31/2011 .

RULES: Event held under American Bicycle Cycling permit. All 2010 ABR Cycling and CX rules apply. More info at:www.AmbikeRace.org . Event held rain or shine, no refunds. Cyclocross and Mountain Bikes (no bar ends please) are best.Bike and wheel changes are allowed in the designated pit area(s). Water feeds are allowed anywhere on course. Riders mustwear helmets when on the bike at all times. Riders shall stay on the course. Respect the venue and local residents at alltimes. Please do not preview or warm up on the course while a race is in progress. Please show up early with plenty of timein between race waves to get on the course.

CATEGORIES & UPGRADES: This race is not eligible for USA Cycling upgrades. What category should you be racing? As ageneral rule, (CX) Category 1=Road Pro or Cat 1; MTB Pro // CX 2=Road 2; MTB 1 or 2 - // CX3=Road 3 or 4; MTB 1 or 2 //CX 4=Road 4 or 5; MTB 3; First Timer

RESULTS: Race results will be posted near the awards area immediately following each race. Please make sure to check
