• Select your county
• Select “All Ages”
• Click “Get Data”

• Scroll down past the dials
• The chart lists leading causes of death by age
• Next, find death rates for different populations
Death Rates of Different Populations
Select “Crude Death Rate” or “Premature Death Rate (YPLL)” and county, age, sex, or race.
The leading cause of death for that group is listed over the dials to the left.
Make sure to note the “Rank By” measurement in your assignment
