Dear Ladies of Haven: In reading in my personal devotions lately,

I was reminded of David’s words in Psalm 19:7 “The law of the

Lord is perfect, reviving the soul”. This coming from an imperfect

man, who had found God’s word to be the way to God’s heart and

to revival in his own. This is also true for us today and it’s exciting

to think of another opportunity to study with a small group of ladies

who want to seek Him with a whole heart. Ray VanderLann’s study

called A Clash of Kingdoms teaches timely lessons bolstering cour-

age in us to live out with confidence our part of His plan to bring

good news to the world around us. This study will be on Monday

mornings for more details along with a signup check the foyer table

along with a sign-up sheet, so that we know how many study guides

to order.

Annual Church Family Potluck Sept. 16, Chicken Bar-b-que will

be served. More details to come.

School Supplies Surplus of used school supplies, craft materials,

fabric and more are in rooms 9A & B. Feel free to take what you can

use.

MINISTRY OPPORTUNTIES: Nursery Volunteers Needed If you would like to volunteer in the nursery during Sunday service please connect with Flavia Prins. Children In Worship is hoping for volunteers to provide snacks

for our worship time together. We love both homemade and pur-

chased treats! We need a dozen treats each week. Sign up and more

information is on the back tables. This is a simple yet meaningful

way to serve our Children. Please direct questions to Scott or Beth

Stoel.

Hand2Hand The Shopping cart is out again! Hard to believe an-

other school year is starting soon. You generosity last year was awe-

some and so appreciated. We have the opportunity again this year to

help provide kids with food for the weekends. (breakfast, lunch, and

snack items) All donations are welcome and a list of suggested items

are in the card. Thank you, Sharon Stoel Coordinator
