Okay, spill the beans. What happened? What has triggered theseawful feelings? Tell me everything! Physically writing out the situationwill help bring clarity and catharsis. So don't hold back.

On a scale of 0-10 how do you feel right now? 

0 -  1 -  2  -  3  -  4  -  5  -  6  -  7  -  8  -  9  -  10MISERABLE BLISSFUL

Knowing this number at the beginning will make it easier to identifywhat activities elevate this number to a higher vibrational frequency. 

Now I want you to list every single emotion you are feeling.  Dig deep!Get specific! Are you angry or are you jealous, pissed, annoyed,

irritate...etc?

Great job! When you consciously recognize and acknowledge whatexactly you are feeling, you help reduce the impact these feelingshave inside the amygdala which reduces the need to go into "fight

or flight" mode. I bet you're already noticing your mood gettingslightly better now!

Now, let's add more to this list of emotions you are feeling, this time Iwant you to disassociate from the emotion and observe it from a

third person stand point.  

Where in your body do you feel each of these emotions? Is it in yourhead? Your stomach? Your chest?

Lets get even more visual with this exercise.  What color and size doeach of these emotions take on.  Continue adding to the

box above any and all descriptions you notice about these emotions. Is it the size of baseball, basket ball or an enormous cloud over you?Maybe the emotion has a specific shape like a triangle, a shape of a

knife or arrow.

In the box below,  write down how each of these emotions areeffecting you on a physical level.  ex: Feeling "annoyed" is causing myhead and eyes to ache. I feel a tenseness between my eyebrows that

is making me want to clench my jaw. 

Now that you have thoroughly identified the energy of each emotion,you probably realized you don't want to hang onto this feeling any

longer right? What benefit is there to staying like this? The answer tothat is "NONE"!  Besides, what do you think would happen if you

continued to carry these emotions like this inside your body? Whatlong-term effect would that have on your emotional and physical

health? Something to think about...

Let's focus now on what you would rather be feeling right now. In the box below list what emotions along with their color, size and

shape and physical effect you'd prefer to feel right now.

Spend the next 5-10 minutes in a meditative prayer and ask God toreplace each of your negative emotions and its corresponding energy

and transmute that energy into the new emotion you would like to feel.Visualize the old color being changed into the new color of emotionyou want to feel.  It helps if you set a timer and close your eyes and

really commit to this visualization. Bask in this new feeling. Makeyourself think what that emotion would feel like in your body and hold

it for at least 5 minutes!

Continue holding the space for this new emotion and pick 2 or 3activities from the list below to help finalize this new emotion totake place in your body. Do not skip this step! It is important and

will help elevate your mood for the rest of the day.

Write a Gratitude List. List everything you are grateful for! Gratitude is the highest vibrational frequency.

Got a project you've been putting off? Now is a great time todive into that. Feeling productive will greatly raise your vibe!

I love to start organizing or deep cleaning an area of myhouse. When the clutter is gone and put away in its rightfulplace I feel so much lighter!

Open the windows and let all the negative and stagnantenergy out and allow a new breeze of fresh air and optimismin. 

Play some music! I like to pick something I can really dancearound the house to. Just make sure the neighbors don'tsee. lol.

Light a Candle.  I buy a new candle every month from Bathand Body Works and put it in my fancy candle holder. Everytime I light it I feel luxurious.

Pamper yourself! Maybe its time to for a new color on yourtoe nails. Do what makes you feel put together.

Serve someone else! Sometimes the answer is to get thefocus off of yourself and helping those in need. Ponder whoneeds a pick me up and do something nice for them.

Write a thank you note.  Who do you absolutely love whomay not hear it enough?  Sit down and write out a heart feltthank you letter for that person in your life.

Exercise!  Get your body moving! Raising your heart rate canlower cortisol levels and increase mood! Go take a run orjump on youtube and find a yoga video to follow.

Go bare foot in the grass!  Take a walk around the yardbarefoot or just stand on the grass. This helps ground yourbody and energy system which can be really revitalizing!

Put on or diffuse essential oils. I find that using grapefruit orpeppermint to be very invigorating to both my mood andmental focus. 

Read an uplifting book.  Try opening your scriptures and seewhat chapter and verse it opens to.  Use your next audiblecredit to get a that new self-help book you've heard so muchabout.

Try to get out of your house and make a face to face humaninteraction. If you don't have a family or friend to visit, try aworkout class or head to the library and strike up aconversation. You never know who you might meet!

Obviously you can add your own tried and try true coping skills tothe list but if you aren't sure what to do, just start with the firstsuggestion! You'll know if it is helpful if you rate how you arefeeling again after the exercise and notice if you mood level haschanged. 

Sometimes we may need extra help shifting out of a really lowplace. We don't allows know what is holding us back fromemotionally shifting to a higher vibrational frequency.
