The basic layout of the Harvia Variant

sauna is ample and provides you

with the opportunity for a variety of

different arrangements. The Variant

sauna is also the most flexible of

Harvia’s sauna designs: you have

Rubic sauna A message from the future.

The Harvia Rubic sauna unites metal,

woodandglasscreatingaharmonious

whole. The sturdy metal profiles in

the corners give the cubical sauna

integrity. There are rectangular panel

sheetsabovetheblackwoodboardof

the side and back walls. Choose the

material of the panel sheets and the

interiorpanellingfromaspen,alder,or

heat-treatedwood.

Glass is used in the front wall. Grates

that express the style of the interior

havebeeninstalledinfrontoftheglass.

The steel-covered base frame and

the adjustable legs protect the walls

and structures of the sauna from the

humidityonthefloor.

The alliance of the materials is

The stainless steel strips have been

comes from heat radiator elements

which produce dry, long-wave heat.

Kelo sauna Step into the Northern sauna atmosphere.

Harvia Kelo sauna gathers together

thespecialfeaturesofkelo-wood,sub-

wood, Legend heater and traditional

craftsmanship along with a handmade

window and door with wrought-iron

hinges.Themeasurementsare–given

traditionallyfromthemiddleofthelogs

– width 2900 mm, depth 2450 mm +

terrace 1500 mm. The diameter of the

kelo-wood is 180–240 mm. You can

choose either Harvia Legend electric

sauna heater or Harvia Legend 240

woodburningstovewithsteelchimney.

Kelo-wood is a snag, a standing dead

pine tree. The bark has peeled off in

thecourseoftime.Theloghasgotsil-

ver grey colour in the harsh and cold

conditions of Karelian wilderness.

yearsold.

The benches, floor and ceiling are

made of sub-wood. Logs that were

lost during timber floating time and

havebeenlyinginthebottomoflakes

and rivers for decades are now being

lifted up and used in wood industry.

Sub-wood has special characteristics

harder and does not split or shrink. It

hasaslightlyredtint.

Door handleHarvia uses a knob door handleand a magnetic latch in its saunadoors.Themagnetkeepsthedoorclosed, even if throwing wateron the heater causes a pressurewave. The magnetic latch is alsodesignedtobecompletelysafe.

Adjustable legsHarvia saunas are delivered withadjustable legs fitted into thebase frame of the sauna. Theyprevent moisture from the floorfrom moving into the lower edgesofthesaunawalls.Adjustablelegsalso make it easier to assemblethe sauna horizontally if the floorisnoteven.

BenchesThe carpentry skills at Harvia aretop quality, and this is especiallyevident in the bench finishing.The Exclusive, Solar, Futura andVentura interior’s benches aredetachable and therefore makecleaninganeasytask.

Safe floorboardHarvia saunas are deliveredwith safe and hygienic plasticfloorboards.Specialplasticontheunderside prevents the floorboardsfrom sliding on the floor surface.The upper surface has a pleasantgrainingthatpreventsslipping.Thelight boards are easy to clean onbothsidesandarelonglasting.Asan alternative, you can also ordertraditional wooden floorboardsmadefromspruce.

Sprucepanellingisslowlygrown,healthyandtoughFinnish

softwood with sound knots that enliven the surface. Spruce

secretesverylittleresin,andthewoodretainsitslightcolour

formanyyears.

Pinepanellingismadeofpurepineboardthathasaslightly

redtinge.Itslooksimprovewithage,anditdarkensbeautiful-

lyastheyearspass.Itsfaintfragranceofpineresinreminds

youoffreshpineforests.

Aspenisatraditionalsaunamaterialbecauseofitscharacter-

istics. Aspen’s light and even colour is long-lasting and cre-

atesafreshatmosphereinsideyoursauna.

Alderhasarefinedshadeofredwhichdeepenswithage.It’s

slightlyvariegatedandeasytocare.

Heat-treated wood preserves its shape well as the years

pass. It is the darkest in colour of Harvia panelling material

andalsohasapleasantscent.Youcanaccentuatetheshade

ofthewoodwithparaffinoil.
