A bachelorette pad is not complete without a bedroom vanity set commonly known in some countries as a dressing table. It is an integral part of every girl’s bedroom. Bedroom vanity sets come in various designs and are made of different materials. One can also select the style that best suites her as well as the size that fits her bedroom. All in all, the bedroom vanity set you select is supposed to be functional yet pleasing to the eye.

In this day and age, a modern bedroom vanity set is preferred. It is considered not just a functional item but a piece of art that enhances the look of the bedroom. It is an accessory, a stylish piece of furniture. It is the place where a lady places her makeup, perfume and other items. Here she sits and carefully wears her makeup, enhancing her looks to their very best advantage. A bedroom vanity set is a woman’s domain. Her space!

A vanity will generally come with a mirror, several drawers for the lady to put her personal effects, and a chair, stool or bench, depending on the design of the vanity. Some have larger mirrors framed by thick wood, ornate and impressive. Others are smaller, with functional mirrors and seats. Some of them have the space to hold a small bouquet of flowers, should the owner so desire, or a box of tissues.

A vanity set can be made of wood or wrought iron among other materials. It can also come in whatever color the buyer prefers. They can be found at furniture shops or you can have one custom made by a local artisan that you trust. If you have it custom made, make sure the drawers are easy to open, the joints are firmly put together and the finish is up to the standards you have set for yourself.

House and decor

Zen means relaxation and meditation. This is the atmosphere you need after a long day hustling and bustling. It can be achieved through the use of accessories and color in the home. Zen color schemes make use of natural elements such as fire, wood, earth, water and metal. Each of this has a color assigned to it red for fire, green for wood, brown for earth, blue for water and grey for metal. A combination of two or three of these colors and their different shades and hues gives you an amazingly calm Zen color scheme. One thing to note though is that muted tones work best as dramatic colors interfere with the entire Zen concept of relaxation.

White is a color that is used liberally in Zen color schemes. It signifies knowledge and learning and is the color you would opt for in a study or a space where you require deep thinking. It also represents purity and longevity. Being a bright color it is best suited for small spaces that you want to look larger. It also has a tendency to be stark when used liberally so go for off-white or beige with the same effect. Yellow is another Zen color that exudes cheerfulness and thoughtful reflection. It is classified with white in that it has similar effect on small rooms.

Once you come up with Zen color schemes for your home establish the main color and let it dominate the room. Even a white room can still look quite magnificent and not impersonal when other Zen colors such as green, red or blue are added in soft furnishings. Make the Zen look complete by adding a water feature either as a picture, a fish tank or a small fountain. A plant or two makes it all perfect. Ultimately keep the Zen mantra of less is more intact.

Names Kevin Wyre

How long have you been at the music thing? As Wyre – 17 years As NN- Since 2000

Pros and cons f solo and group work? Working as a group always brings out a new different sound from both of us. We also hardly argue wit Naz so it’s quite easy working together. As solo acts we also have different sounds.

How did NN come to be?The name Necessary Noize came up because we initially we were three different artistes with 3 different styles of music. Usually when you put that combination on one song with artistes who don’t have direction you would normally expect Noise!! But in our case we blended well so that made it Necessary!

Is NN Back? The Noize is back definitely. There was a lot of speculation of the group splitting but it wasn’t true. We just took time to focus on our solo projects for a while. We still will be pushing both Necessary Noize chunes and our solo chunes together, but expect a more mature sounding NN(ie. Lyrically & flowise).

What does it take to be ina group? As a group the work is less in studio coz you write less as compared to solo work. As a group you also need to exercise compromise because you all have different tastes & ideas.

Talk about privacy We spend our whole lives in the eye of the media because of the nature of our work. Therefore the one thing that we really cherish is our private life. The more you guard it the more peace you’ll have.

How is life? It’s a great life! Wouldn’t change it for the world. It gets you more focused in life, knowing that you have extra mouths in the house to feed.

Best Memories? For myself(Wyre) some memorable ones I’ve met are Tuface,P-

Square, MI, Cecile, Alaine ,Akon, Kymani Marley, Chronixx, Tarrus Riley,Kanda Bongo Man , Mims, Etana, Romain Virgo, Inner Circle among others.

Any awards? Myself-( 3 Times Best Dancehall artist of the year in Kisima Awards) ,(Best New Entertainer in THE INTERNATIONAL REGGAE & WORLD MUSIC AWARDS) As a group( Best overall Group in KISIMA AWARDS) Best Music Video in Kisima Awards. Best Single (PAM AWARDS) Among others.

Projects currently in the works? NN is back but we are doing both the group & our solo projects together.

What can your fans expect? Expect a more mature sounding NN.

What can your fasn do to help? Keep on downloading and purchasing legit genuine music from selected music portals or the artists websites.

Any last words?Just wanna say thanks to God for the gift of music. Thank you to all the fans who’ve kept our music alive all these years. Thank you for calling and texting the stations to request our music. Thank you for voting for us in the awards. Thank you to all th eDj’s and media houses for being our link to the listeners & viewers. We celebrate you & we don’t take it for granted.

Names .Nazizi Firoz Hirji

How long have you been at the music thing? my first single release was in 1998 so 15 years as an artist and 13 years part of necessary Noize.

Pros and cons f solo and group work? Working as a group has been really amazing. Wyre and I were born same year same month 20 days apart. He is like my twin brother that I never had. Has been amazing to grow up together musically. We never fight argue or disagree which is really cool for the group. It’s been quite a journey for sure but a blessed one

How did NN come to be? necessary Noize was a name I came up with because usually wen artists of different genres come together on one song it sounds like Noize. Ours blended perfect so necessary Noize!

Is NN Back?Bamzi left the group right after we recorded the Kenyan girl Kenyan boy album. He left us at a critical stage of our career and we respected his decision however we must protect the group now form ever being in such a situation again so the Noize has been Wyre and I since 2004 and we ok with that

What does it take to be ina group?Well the advantages of being in a group is that the studio sessions r less stressful. You always have a friend with u on tour on stage in interviews so the work load is easier and the environment is

awesome.

Challenges would be sharing the cheque lol and agreeing on artistic direction but Wyre and I hardly have a problem with that.

Schedules can be quite challenging too because as solo artist we have different gigs and calendars so making the dates work for the group is a next challenge.

Talk about privacy That’s just easy lol..We prefer to share music not personal life and it seems to work there’s no magic trick lol. I think celebrities esp in Kenya can still choose what to share or not.

How is life?. Family has been so important to our careers from day one our parents gave us money to produce albums. Later we became parents too and we both got boys!

It’s been amazing having a family to return to esp an understanding family that respects our career

Best Memories?most memorable would be gain to the bob Marley Africa unite symposium in Addis Ababa where i got to meet all the Marley family! The other would be wining 2 award as EABC in South Africa channel o awards. And most recently meeting Ginjah from Jamaica and recording a whole album with him. The album is officially out titled motherland this i will never forget.

Any awards?.oh my we have won so many I can’t remember

all but I can see on my shelf 13 awards from Chaguo la teeniez, Kisima awards, Pam awards and channel o awards. My favorite is female artist of the year that I’ve won 5 times!

Projects currently in the works? . We never really left we just had life to deal with and babies to make but yes the Noize is definitely and officially back!

What can your fans expect? Bring back the Noize was a comeback song like an announcement but the real tunes r yet to come so fans should expect allot of amazing tunes.

What can your fasn do to help? So many fans asked us during the 8yr silence when we will be doing a new project, now that we have it’s the fans jobs to support by watching the videos, requesting the new song if u haven’t heard it join my fan page NAZIZI on Facebook and follow me on twitter @nazizihirji for latest NN info.

Any last words?Give thanks for all the blessings and love shown to us during the last 13 yrs means allot now let’s bring back the noise
