THE BEL-AMI HOTEL Hôtel Bel Ami 7/11 rue St-Benoît 75006 Paris From Charles de Gaulle (CdG) AIRPORT This Airport is situated North from Paris city center - around 16 miles. The fastest way to leave the airport, heading Paris, is the RER B. It is easy to find when you arrive at CdG, thanks to posters “RER B” (blue font) and/or mention of Paris. A single trip will cost around 10 €. Charles de Gaulle Airport is at the end of the RER north line; you have to take a train going south, with “Saint-Rémy” or “Robinson” as a destination. Please note that these are the last stops, you will of course go down from the train at your station: “Saint Michel - Notre Dame”. This is where you will have to switch from RER to Metro: follow the “M4” (pink/grey) signs, searching for the final stop “Mairie de Montrouge”. Indeed, you have to go south, count 2 stops and go down. Your station is “Saint-Germain-des-Pres”. Leave the station and walk up the street: you see a large boulevard, and a chuch (Saint Germain) - you have to go in front of it and continue 1 street ahead to the Hôtel Bel Ami. From Orly AIRPORT This Airport is situated South from Paris city center - around 10 miles. A good way to leave the airport is by taking the “OrlyBus”. It goes directly from Orly to Denfert-Rochereau (Métro-RER). A single trip will cost around 7,5€. Orly Airport is situated at the end of the bus line, so you just have to stay in the bus and go down at “Denfert-Rochereau”. This is where you will have to switch to the metro, by going underground and following the “M4” (pink/grey) signs, indicated thanks to its final stop “Mairie de Montrouge”. Indeed, you have to go north, count 6 stops and go down. Your station is “Saint-Germain- des-Pres”. Leave the station and walk up the street: you see a large boulevard, and a chuch (Saint Germain) - you have to go in front of it and continue 1 street ahead to the Hôtel Bel Ami.

…THE MAISON DE LA RECHERCHE Maison de la Recherche 54 rue de Varenne 75007 Paris

The Maison de la Recherche front door is the one below, with the number 54 on the top of it. The building it self is behind this metal door, through a large corridor.

From Charles de Gaulle (CdG) AIRPORT This Airport is situated North from Paris city center - around 16 miles. The fastest way to leave the airport, heading Paris, is the RER B. This is where you will have to switch from RER to Metro: follow the “M10” (orange/green) signs. You’ll have to reach the “Cluny-La Sorbonne” station, and head there to “Boulogne-Pont de Saint-Cloud”. Count 3 stops and go down at “Sèvres-Babylone”. Once you are there, it will take you around 10 minutes to go north on Boulevard Raspail, and left to Rue de Varenne. From Orly AIRPORT This Airport is situated South from Paris city center - around 10 miles. A good way to leave the airport is by taking the “OrlyBus”. It goes directly from Orly to Denfert-Rochereau (Métro-RER). A single trip will cost around 7,5€. Orly Airport is situated at the end of the bus line, so you just have to stay in the bus and go down at “Denfert-Rochereau”. This is where you will have to make a choice: (1) switch to the metro and use 2 lines in a row, to get close to the Maison de la Recherche (by aiming “Rue du Bac” stop). Details: at “Denfert Rochereau”, follow the “M6” line (grey) heading to “Charles de Gaulle Etoile”; count 4 stops and at “Pasteur”, change for the “M12” line (brown) to go north towards “Front Populaire - Aubervilliers”. Count 6 stops and go down at “Rue du Bac”. You are 5 minutes walk from the Maison de la Recherche. (2) switch to the metro and use only one line, to go to “Saint Sulpice”, where a 12/15 minutes walk will be needed. Details: at “Denfert Rochereau”, follow the “M4” line (pink/grey) heading north to “Porte de Clignancourt”; you have to count 5 stops and go down at “Saint Sulpice”. There, you’ll need 12/15 minutes straight west to reach the Maison de la Recherche.
