Muratec leaps ahead in quality and maintenance monitoring with the “VORTEX-LABO (V-LABO)”. This system includes hardware and software, and connects to the VOS (Visual On-demand System) of the Muratec VORTEX spinning machine.

With V-LABO, the customer can collect data from up to 90 VORTEX machines, monitoring daily maintenance, as well as daily, monthly and yearly production and operation data.

The V-LABO system, which will be shown at the ITMA 2015 exhibition in Milan, offers many possibilities for improved customer service. Future plans include

expansion of V-LABO capabilities to include remote communication between Muratec engineers and the V-LABO system. This powerful feature will allow off-site evaluation of critical machine performance and quality data. Muratec engineers could then relay valuable corrective advice to the customer, even before visiting the plant. Also, routine collection and analysis of data, would allow for periodic distribution of valuable reports concerning product quality and machine management.

Thus, the V-LABO system can provide the next step in the evolution of Muratec-Customer communications and keep the customer 'A Step Ahead' in quality and maintenance. We look forward to the official introduction at ITMA 2015.

Thank you for coming to EXPOFIL in Paris!Many VORTEX fabrics and product samples were exhibited at EXPOFIL, held in Paris, France from September 16 to 18. EXPOFIL is an exhibition for "yarns and fibers," and is just one event of the international apparel and fashion exhibitions titled "PREMIERE VISION". A total of 1,939 companies from more than 30 countries and regions exhibited products, and 62,431 visitors from 120 countries and regions attended.Our Muratec booth offered an effective setting for business connections and communication between VORTEX yarn consumers and producers. Thank you to everyone who visited our booth.Among the 37 spinning companies participating in EXPOFIL, 10 were users of Muratec VORTEX spinning machines (VORTEX partners). Currently VORTEX partners are more than 140 strong worldwide, and growing.

OTM 2014Middle East Textile Machinery Exhibition, in Turkey

Muratec exhibited the VORTEX spinning machine “VORTEX Ⅲ 870” with 16 spindles, the automatic winder “PROCESS CONER Ⅱ QPRO” and “PROCESS CONER Ⅱ FPRO” with one spindle, at OTM 2014 which was held in Turkey from October 16 to 19. Above all else, high speed spinning at 500m/min of 100% polyester yarn which was demonstrated with the VORTEX Ⅲ 870 made the greatest impact and generated a strong response from customers. In addition, high speed yarn winding (1300m/min) onto dye packages was demonstrated with the FPRO, proving that precision wind quality and high productivity can be achieved simultaneously.Muratec machinery will continue to evolve so we can always be prepared to respond to our customer's quality and productivity needs.

Intertextile Shanghai Apparel FabricsAutumn Edition 2014

Muratec participated in Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics Autumn Edition 2014 with the goal to promote VORTEX spinning. This is the largest exhibition in Asia, and was held in Shanghai, China from October 20 to 23. A total of 71,138 visitors from 93 countries and regions attended.VORTEX fabric and product samples were exhibited in a wide variety of materials. VORTEX partners, who supply VORTEX yarns, were introduced to yarn consumers. A list of 28 VORTEX partners displaying products at the exhibition was distributed.There were many inquiries received during the exhibition including requests for special applications such as acrylics, flame resistant materials, and core yarns. Opportunities are increasing for VORTEX spinning as a means to produce new, added value yarns.

Seminar for customers in Pakistan

On October 21st, Muratec held a large-scale seminar for customers in Pakistan for the first time. Approximately 300 current and potential new customers participated. They received an explanation of our latest technology and discussed Muratec's high standards regarding customer service.Seminar content included; the automatic winder “PROCESS CONER Ⅱ QPRO,” the VORTEX spinning machine “VORTEX Ⅲ 870,” the customer support system “Visual Manager+” and the parts quotation/reservation system "e-PRO." The seminar was a valuable opportunity for customers to gain greater understanding about our machines and support.We will continue our active approach toward building communication with customers around the world.

Early this year, as a new service, Murata Parts Sales, Ltd. began an individual seminar series for customers. Seminars have been held for customers in the four China provinces of Shandong, Chiangsu, Zhejiang and Fujian.At each seminar, Muratec staff presented an explanation of machine control, maintenance and parts. Then our staff conducted an explanation of machine diagnostics at customers' factories, and replaced parts or adjusted settings as needed. Then, data was collected in order to demonstrate the performance differences

after the replacements and adjustments. Finally, the results were reported to each customer.Customers have reported that this seminar emphasized the importance of machine maintenance and parts replacement. And, that it also was a valued learning experience for their young on-site engineers.We will continue to conduct individual seminars as a strategy to improve and stabilize the performance of customers' machines through concentrated advice regarding maintenance and quality.
