New Venture Management Class
Students in MGT 5315 were challenged to select a non-profit organization and to develop a product or service, which was then brought to market. The class project is designed to grant students the experience of starting a new venture while simultaneously raising money for and promoting a social cause.
Teams raised over $5,600 for local non-profit organizations. One team (shown above) created branded hats for the local chapter of the Boys & Girls Club. The Spectrum News featured another student team who partnered with the Hays County Food Bank to develop reusable grocery bags. The broadcasted story can be viewed at https://spectrumlocalnews.com/tx/austin/news/2018/11/15/
