She received her Ph.D. in Business Administraon: Organizaon and Management Studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio. New Venture Management Class Students in MGT 5315 were challenged to select a non-profit organizaon and to develop a product or service, which was then brought to market. The class project is designed to grant students the experience of starng a new venture while simultaneously raising money for and promong a social cause. Teams raised over $5,600 for local non-profit organizaons. One team (shown above) created branded hats for the local chapter of the Boys & Girls Club. The Spectrum News featured another student team who partnered with the Hays County Food Bank to develop reusable grocery bags. Dr. Stephanie Solansky joined Department of Management faculty in Fall 2018. She serves as the core course coordinator for Business Communication and Professional Development . She received her Ph.D. in Business Administration: Organization and Management Studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
