The day starts at 6.30 am Changed & ready to enter
the at shed 7.30am
First Job 8.00am -
turn the radio on
- Switch machines on
- Check water
- Check fence
- Check feed—soya/wheat/
nutrients
- Walk the sheds until 9.00am
- Collect floor eggs and put the
shell/grit in
The chickens are let out 9.00am - They are free range and enjoy going outdoors . There
are 64,000 chickens on this farm. Most chickens lay one egg a day. They are all female!
