Hot Cross BunsHefeteig:n 600g white flourn 1 teaspoon saltn 2 teaspoons cinnamonn 60 g buttern 75 g sugarn 20 g yeastn zest of 1 lemonn 1 egg

n 300 ml warm milkn 100 g raisins

topping:n 2 tablespoons white flourn 2 tablespoons cold watern 1 tablespoon syrup or jam

anleitung:Hefeteig herstellen und kleine Brötchen von ca. 8 cm Durchmesser formen. Vor dem Backen nochmals 30 Minuten gehen lassen. Mit dem Messer oben ein Kreuz einschneiden. Mehl-masse aus Mehl und

Wasser in das Kreuz streichen. Nochmals kurz gehen lassen. Im Ofen erst 10 Minuten bei ca. 220 Grad backen, dann weitere knappe 20 Minuten bei ca. 100 Grad. Mit flüssiger Marmelade oder Syrup bestreichen.
