Planning your Happy Album EventYour Happy Album event can be short and sweet! It’s as easy as meeting up with 5-10 people at your house or the local coffee shop to work on your Happy Albums. Here is a check-list to get your started!

� Select the date and time of your event

� Secure the place you want to host your event – this could be at your house, a free event space in the area, or even at a local coffee shop!

� Create an event on your Facebook business page

� Invite your customers, friends and family via text, email or a Facebook event invite

� Encourage your customers to purchase the Happy Album and additional supplies prior to your event – this is a great way to get an accurate headcount

� Have the Happy Album, Kits and supplies set out at each workspace

� Provide light snacks and beverages

� Talk about the Happy Album, why you love it and what products are available

Introduce the Happy Album with an activity! Distribute one white refill page and two designer papers from a Happy Album kit to each guest + stickers or embellishments to share.

1. Adhere the first designer paper to the white page

2. Take the top 3" of the second designer paper and fold it over so both patterns are showing. Adhere it to the middle or bottom of the first page.

3. Have each person adhere a photo or two to the page and write about why it makes them happy

4. Decorate the page with embellishments and stickers

Take Photos of Your Projects and EventsWe are always looking for new content to feature on our Instagram page, @BeHappyAlbum! Create new and unique layouts in your Happy Album for us to feature on social media and in Advisor Facebook groups! Once you have finished a layout, follow the steps below to take a high quality photo to share.

1. Lay your Happy Album flat on a solid background (preferably white)

2. An area with bright natural light is best!3. Take your photo directly above the layout, making sure

to evenly capture the whole album and avoid shadows4. Post your photo on Instagram and tag @BeHappyAlbum

with #HappyAlbum, post your photo in the Advisor Facebook group OR email your photo to Sadie ([email protected])

• Create and share on other social media sites, like Instagram

• Post about your Happy Album projects, promotions and new product launches so your customers are in the loop of all things happy!

Highlight PageCREATE A MONTHLY

Each month, it’s important to take the time to appreciate all the HAPPY in your life, the memories you created and check in on the progress of your goals. Reflecting at the end of every month helps to not only motivate yourself for the next month, but give yourself a pat on the back for all that you achieved. Use Kit #14 and the journal prompts listed below to

create a monthly highlight page in your Happy Album!

1. Start by using Kit #14 and cut the Blue Cardstock diagonally in half with the Trimmer. Then, adhere the pages into your Happy Album using a Tape Runner. This layout is so easy to create, uses minimal paper and leaves you with so much room for photos and journaling!

2. Next, take the floral designer paper and get creative by cutting out a few of the flowers! This allows you to use other patterns from the paper included in the kit without taking up too much journal or photo space.

3. Print out the photos you took throughout the month and adhere them to the pages. Then, decorate your reflection page with the gorgeous embellishments from Kit #14. Using the white spaces, answer the journal prompts and write about the happy memories you made throughout the month! You will love looking back at each month at the end of the year.

With Kit #16CREATE A LAYOUT

Although we include directions in each kit to create a stunning layout in your Happy Album, it’s fun to be creative and make up your own! Here are a few simple tips to create a unique layout in your Happy Album:

1. Pick out the designer paper you like best from Kit #16.

2. Cut the designer paper in half so you have two different patterns on a page. This can be done horizontally, diagonally or vertically! It’s an easy way to create a unique foundation for your page.



3. Cut a different patterned paper or cardstock to mat your photos and make them pop on your page.

4. Use the laser die cut frames to accentuate and decorate your photos.

5. Use the extra space to write down quotes and journal about your best moments!

1. Start by using Kit #16 and cut the Blue Cardstock and yellow patterned paper vertically in half for the first page.

2. Next, cut the coral patterned paper horizontally in half for the second page.

3. Lastly, cut the remaining Blue Cardstock in half one more time to cover 1/4 of the second page and do the same for the leaf patterned paper. See how you can simply cut pages in half to create both layouts? It’s so easy and takes minimal measuring! This type of layout can be altered to create endless layouts and pattern combinations!

Create a Travel JournalTake the Happy Album with you on your next trip! Here are a few tips to create a travel journal on the go.

1. Cut the green and yellow patterned designer paper diagonally in half and adhere them to both pages.

2. Cut the white cardstock diagonally in half and adhere them opposite to the patterned paper on each page.

3. Cut the pink patterned designer paper into one inch strips and adhere them to the inside borders of each page.

1. Prep your pages: Before you travel, cut the designer paper diagonally in half and adhere each half to your Happy Album pages. Use the White Cardstock in Kit #15 to journal and the additional patterned paper as a background for your photos. Your pages are now ready to add journaling and photos while you travel!

2. Pack your materials: The Travel Case makes it easy to pack everything you need in one place without taking up much room. If you prepped your pages beforehand, then all you need to take with you is your Creative Memories Dual-Tip Pen and a Tape Runner!

3. Print photos on the go: If you like to print your photos at any time or place, you can use an instant printer or camera. If you would rather add your photos later on, that works too! Tip: you can use a Tape Runner or get creative by adhering your photos with washi tape or stickers from our Happy Album kits!

4. Document your adventures: As you take photos of your adventures, remember to journal about them too! At the end of each day, write about what you did and any memorable moments; then adhere your photo for that day next to it.

5. Share your stories: What better way to show the highlights of your travels than by pulling out your Happy Album and letting people see for themselves?! You no longer need to have people looking through the photos on your phone to see what an awesome time you had. You will love looking back on all the adventures you’ve had!
