Republic day

Republic day celebrations on the

occasion of 69th Republic Day were

held with elated patriotism.

Customary flag hosting was followed

by cultural events by student. Maj.

S.G.Chatterji Chief Guest of the

function unfurled the national flag.

Management Olympiad-

2018

Shri Ramswaroop Memorial Group Of Professional Colleges is hosted two-days

managerial fest ”Management Olympiad-2018” jointly organized by All India

Management Association (AIMA) and Lucknow Management Association (LMA). The two days event on 24th and 25th January 2018 witnessed participation from allied

institutions of Lucknow viz IIM Lucknow, Lucknow University, Shri Ramswaroop

Memorial University, BBD University, National PG College, ICCMRT. The Olympiad

witnessed participation through events like case study competitions, business quiz related to functional areas like marketing,branding,human resource,poster making

,business simulation and knowledge sharing. The event was inaugurated by the

Director of IIM Lucknow Prof. Ajeet Prasad by lightning the lamp and garlanding Maa Saraswati. While giving his inaugural address he emphasized the need of

technological up gradation for concurrent corporates. He iterated that today’s market

is undergoing three kinds of transformations .Technological upgradations has

reduced the product life cycle of the product offered , another transformation is social

transformation caused by changing thought process of today’s youth which is once again leading to transformation in individual’s behavior desire causing pressure upon

marketing methodologies by the companies. On this occasion ,the vice-president of

LMA, Mr. A.K.Mathur highlighted the functioning of LMA. He made audience aware of the fact that LMA has started training and internship of the students and getting

them placed at suitable position in big businesses.

The director of the college Prof.(Dr.) R.K Jaiswal honored the Deputy Director of AIMA Shri Ravi Jangra and Chief Guest by presenting them an earthen pot . During the culmination part of the programme Prof.M.B.Jauhari gave vote of thanks by informing the audience that AIMA shall keep conducting such capacity building competitions under its banner for the continuous up gradation of management aspirants The major sponsor of the event is SBI and co-sponsor is HDFC home loans. The coordinator of the programme Dr. Pragati Malik along with Prof. Gaurav Mishra, Dr. B.B. Tiwari, Dr. Pankaj Dhingra were also present on the occasion.

A research paper entitled “Clustering Algorithm: briefReview inBioinformatics” authored

by Mr. Jayant Mishra (Astt. Prof CS Deptt.) has been published in an International

Journalof Science and Research (IJSR) ISSN:2319-7064 Vol: 6, Issue 1, January 2018.

A Guest Lecture by Ms. Mudita Singh on the topic “Introduction to Artificial Intelligence”

was organized for Mechanical 3rd year and 4th year students.

Major Shanti Gopal Chatterji (SENA MEDAL)

Maj. S.G.Chatterji was commissioned in 12 JAKLI (Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry) on 24 December 1972 and was posted in Operation Orchid (Nagaland) He led a mission across the IB in pursuit and raided Naga hostile Camp, 17 km from International Border, Burma on 22 February 1988. He led from the front front. The raiding team reached close to the Naga Hostile Camp by using darkness and stealth. The raid carried out a dawn and left seven Naga hostile dead and three injured and captured. Arms and ammunition were recovered. Maj S.G. Chatterji displayed sheer dedication,

exceptional courage and mental ability and utter disregard to his personal safety and comfort. For his contribution Maj. S. G. Chatterji was recommended for the award of SENA MEDAL (GALLANTRY). He received the SENA MEDAL (GALLANTRY) award in February 1990.

All faculty members, staff members and students are required to follow proper dress

code. I-card is mandatory.

SRMGPC is a Ragging Free Campus and Tresspassers will be prosecuted.

No vehicles are permitted in the campus without a college sticker on it. Faculties/staff

and students can purchase the stickers from admin dept by paying Rs.10.

All students must abide by the general and special rules made by the college

authorities from time to time with regard to their conduct and studies.

Smoking, chewing tobacco, gutka, pan masala etc. is strictly prohibited in the college

campus. Anyone found smoking, chewing tobacco, gutka, pan, masala etc. will face

disciplinary action.

Students are not permitted to stay in the hostels during class hours. If any student is

not feeling well he/she may stay in the hostel, only after seeking a prior permission

from chief hostel warden.

Hostellers are not allowed to move around on their bikes.

All the students who wish to occupy hostel in the next session are required to fill the

hostel accommodation form available in the hostel office.

The students must follow the following rules:

Always carry Identity card. It should be tied with a string around the neck

Do not roam around the campus during class hour.

Be in proper college uniform.

All rider and pillion are required to wear helmet.

It is desirable to keep the campus clean- least we can do to contribute towards Swatch

Bharat Abhiyaan.

All students are required to maintain full attendance.
