LAKEVIEW CINEMANothing beats an a ernoon at the cinema! Join us in the Activity Room on the days and times below for some popcorn and a movie. Nikki is happy to accept any movie requests and has a suggestions list outside the activities room!

• A Walk in the CloudsSunday, March 1st at 3:30pm

A er returning from World War II, Paul Sutton (Keanu Reeves), a young G.I., nds he has little in common with the wife he le behind. Disillusioned, he heads north to work as a traveling salesman. ere he meets Victoria (Aitana Sanchez-Gijon), the daughter of a wealthy vineyard owner. On her way home, Victoria is terri ed of what her domineering father will do when he learns she is unmarried and pregnant. Paul gallantly o ers to help by posing as her husband for one night, unaware that doing so will change both of their lives forever.

• e Help ursday, March 5th at 1:30pm

In 1960s Mississippi, Southern society girl Skeeter (Emma Stone) returns from college with dreams of being a writer. She turns her small town on its ear by choosing to interview the black women who have spent their lives taking care of prominent white families. Only Aibileen (Viola Davis), the housekeeper of Skeeter’s best friend, will talk at rst. But as the pair continue the collaboration, more women decide to come forward, and as it turns out, they have quite a lot to say.

• Taking Chance ursday, March 19th at 2:00pm

Taking Chance is the remarkable true story of one soldier’s death in battle, another soldier’s journey of discovery, and a nation’s reverence and gratitude towards its war dead. A er hearing of the heroic death of a young Marine in Iraq, veteran o cer Lt. Colonel Michael Strobl (Kevin Bacon) volunteers to escort the remains of Lance Corporal Chance Phelps back to his hometown in Wyoming. Now, on a trip across America’s heartland, Strobl will nd himself on an unexpectedly emotional sojourn into the soul of a county mourning not only Phelps, but all of our country’s fallen heroes.

• Jack ReacherSunday, March 29th at 3:30pm

One morning in an ordinary town, ve people are shot dead in a seemingly random attack. All evidence points to a single suspect: an ex-military sniper who is quickly brought into custody. e man’s interrogation yields one statement: Get Jack Reacher (Tom Cruise). Reacher, an enigmatic ex-Army investigator, believes the authorities have the right man but agrees to help the sniper’s defense attorney (Rosamund Pike). However, the more Reacher delves into the case, the less clear-cut it appears.

• March 2: NASA astronaut Scott Kelly returned from space aer one full year, setting a new record for the longest uninterrupted trip to space.

• March 20: e sun shines on the equator for the Vernal Equinox, giving us a near 50-50 split of day and night.
