Creating a beaded necklace is a great way to show off
your flair and talent for jewelry making in front of your
friends and relatives. Here is a tutorial that will teach
you to build your own beautiful necklaces out of fabric
beads and 2mm round seed beads. Hope you’ll love it!
Supplies needed for the beaded necklace:
16mm Fabric Bead*4
12mm Fabric Bead*1
10mm Fabric Bead*6
3mm Round Seed Bead
2mm Round Seed Bead
Crimp Bead
Bead Tip
End chain
Lobster Claw Clasp
Tiger Tail Wire

How to make these beautiful necklaces:
Step 1: make the woven beads
1st, cut 90cm from the tiger tail wire;
2nd, slide on the seed beads to the center in this order: one 3mm purple seed bead, one 2mm
purple seed bead, one 2mm gold seed bead and one 2mm purple seed bead. Repeat the groups for
7 times in total;
3rd, thread the wire back through the starting 3mm purple seed bead. Pull the wire until it is taught
you’ll get a loop;
4th, add more beads in this order: feed on one 2mm purple seed bead, one 3mm golden seed bead,
three 2mm gold seed beads, go through the 12mm fabric bead, three 2mm gold seed beads, one
3mm golden seed bead and one 2mm purple seed bead. Then cross the two ends through the first
3mm purple seed bead as picture show;
5th, thread the two ends through a 12mm fabric bead from different directions. Repeat adding the
beads as previous and then cross through the adjacent 3mm purple seed bead;
6th, do the processes for the rest of five 3mm purple seed beads.

Once finished the 1st~6th procedures, you’ll get the
top half of your 12mm fabric covered bead.
7th, weave the two wire ends to the bottom half and

8th, replace the 12mm fabric bead with a 10mm one.
Make another two woven beads.
Step 2: string the beads and clasp
1st, take another strand of tiger tail wire, about 100cm this time;
2nd, affix a bead tip with a crimp bead at the center. Then you’ll get two working ends;
3rd, slide 90 or more 2mm seed beads per wire. Choose and array the colors according to your
preference;
4th, take both wires and go through the fabric beads in the order: two 10mm fabric beads, one
16mm fabric bead, one 10mm woven bead, one 16mm fabric bead, one 12mm woven bead, one
16mm fabric bead, one 10mm woven bead, one 16mm fabric bead, two 10mm fabric beads and
then the seed beads as you did at the starting;
5th, secure the ending with the other crimp bead and bead tip;
6th, attach the clasp and end chain onto the bead tips.
