The House
Handcross House is only a short walk from the centre of the
village and adjoins open countryside with superb views of
the North Hampshire Downs which lie immediately to the
south. The house is set back from the lane and approached

Handcross is a luxurious new country house built by the
multi-award winning designer and developer Tim Cooksey.
This superb family house is built with handmade bricks, sash windows with stone lintels and lead dormers giving it a classical look. From the kitchen, a door leads to a rear hall off which are a

cloakroom. The master bedroom suite is extremely spacious
and comfortable and again enjoys lovely views. It includes a

The stairs lead to a good sized games room with dormer

Location
Kingsclere is ideally situated between Newbury and
Basingstoke and located in unspoilt countryside at the foot
of the North Hampshire Downs all forming part of the
North Wessex Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There is
a wide range of shops and services in the village including
a primary school, garage, restaurants, pubs and a doctor’s
surgery and there is good access to Basingstoke, Newbury,
Reading and Winchester. There is a large selection of schools
in the area including Cheam, Elstee, Horris Hill, Thorngrove,
