We had one demonstration for our November meeting. Jason Gantner may be hard to track down but he is very knowledgable about CA fi nish. He had so much great information to offer our visitors that we put it into a video at http://www.hrpenturners.net/videos/CAfi nish.wmv

Our other mission for the Novem-ber meeting was to assist in Wood-craft’s Turn for Troops program.

We thank the members that par-ticipated and were able to make around 25 pens to add to this great way to give back to our troops.

Bryan Meissner will be demonstrating what he calls Panzerplatte (Ger-man for armor plate) to create his metal blanks as seen at his new busi-ness website called Squid Handicrafts at http://www.shop.squidwood-handicrafts.com/. It has taken Bryan a good amount of time to fi nd the right pieces and materials and the way to put the fi nal pieces together. He will show different ways to achieve different fi nishes and fi ts for the dif-ferent sized tubes. If people have special requests, they can email Bryan, or go through the website, either way let him know and he can send a coupon code for the penturners’ club.___________________________________________________________
