o The contents should be placed in an A4 ring binder with a contents page and section for each part of the portfolio.

o The portfolio should be clearly marked with the name of the NQSW.o Do not use plastic wallets.

The paper portfolio should be submitted to the Adult Services Workforce Development team, Floor 3 Capital House, 48-52 Andover Road, Winchester SO23 7BH

Electronic Portfolio(At the end of each review period the NQSW will submit all documents relation to that period to the workforce development team via [email protected])

At the end of the year the final documents for month 6- 12 must then be submitted electronically. They should be submitted as attachments in a single email to the professional development team. [email protected]

Date for final submission

The submission date for all NQSW is the one year anniversary of their employment as an NQSW commencing or, where appropriate, the agreed ASYE programme start date.

Any change to this date is subject to the mitigating circumstances process and must be negotiated with the Workforce Development team.

On completion of a successful ASYE year the change from E to F grade is backdated to the date the paper portfolio is received. (unless completed in a senior caseworker post)

NB If the portfolio is submitted before the one year anniversary the grade change will be effective from the one year anniversary rather than the date of submission.

Information Sharing Hampshire County Council Workforce Development Team collect your electronic portfolio and arrange for it to be moderated twice internally, by a practice educator and by a manager at the internal moderation panel. Your portfolio evidence will be submitted to the Skills for Care Portal in line with their requirements of the employers of NQSW registered on the ASYE. We may also share your personal information with a third party who is part of the local Social Work Education Network as part of the external moderation process. You will be informed if your portfolio is selected for presentation at the external panel. All data will remain within the UK. We will keep your electronic portfolio for 7 years in line with Adults Health and Care data retention schedules. Your paper portfolio will be returned to you after the internal moderation panel.
