Friends and Co-Workers of the Gospel,

We continue to thank the Lord for all your prayers for the ministry of Outreach International, and for Teri and I personally. We also thank the Lordfor the financial support we receive to help make it possible for us to be involved in this ministry. We have seen God use O.I. in the past couple ofmonths in some exciting ways as new people are getting involved in somenew projects. Please pray for the following projects and people involved.

Patrick Mahoney is a young man who is working on his PhD. in Linguisticshere at the University of Texas at Arlington where Teri teaches Englishpart-time. Patrick has been to New Guinea on an internship with PBT andto several other countries on short-term trips. Patrick has been burdened todo mission work for some time now. He met with our missionaries, Allen

and Betty Pierce, who are working in Equatorial Guinea. The Pierce'stalked with Patrick about going to Equatorial Guinea to help with the workthere. Long story short, we have met with Patrick a couple of times and heplans to go with O.I. to Equatorial Guinea the summer of 2007 to work withthe team there. He will plan to start on the Old Testament Bible translationin the Fang lanuage as weU as help in other ways. Pray for Patrick as he finishes school and raises support.

Allen and Betty Fierce are back in Equatorial Guinea after having a shortfurlough here in the states. Charles and Bridget Ulibarri have been working hard there in their absence. Charles and his family just arrived back inTexas. They wiU be traveling and visiting their supporting churches as weUas raising more support before their return to Equatorial Guinea in January,Lord Willing. They have had some medical issues typical to that part of theworld, but are doing weU right now. Please pray for the Ulibarri family asthey travel, rest, and raise support. Pray for the church there in Africa andthe work of the Gospel of Christ.

Randy and Angle Stohs have been in ministry for several years here in thestates. They have a desire to help get others involved in ministry and specifically missions. Some of our 0.1. staff spent some time with them thispast month about working with the mission in campus ministry. Good

Lord Willing, the Stohs plan to spend a year at a university campus overseas to start a campusministry. They will be taking language classes and witnessing and sharing the Gospel. Randyand his family would like to return to the states in time and travel to university campus ministriesand Bible colleges here to recruit teams to go into universities aroimd the world. Please pray fortheir plans and support raising.

Krista Vannoy is a young lady we are helping as she is making plans to go to Ireland to work. There is a lot of youth work there that needs to be done. Krista has been there for a short time, but would like to return to work with an organization that is established and currently workingin church planting and youth work. We hope that we will be able to help make it possible for herto go and do the work God is calling here to do there.

Jesse and Kari Fryer are back in Papua New Guinea with their new little addition to the family,Judah. They are getting settled in again with fhe work there.

Josh and Susan Sanchez in ManzaniUo, Mexico became the proud parents of Jared Landon Sanchez in May. He had some medical problems and had to be moved to Mexico City. He was in thehospital for a while, but is now out of the hospital and doing well. We thank God for his life andhealth.

It has been a very busy schedule the past six months with my chemo treatments causing me tomake trips to the hospital in Dallas 3 to 4 days every week. We praise the Lord for great healthconsidering all we've been through. My CT scan last week showed NO cancer. PTL!!! My lastday of chemo treatment will be on the 30th of Jime. I have gained weight and am doing well. Mystrength is coming back too. I am reaUy looking forward to getting off the chemo meds. Thankyou for your faithful prayers for my health. The Lord has blessed them and honored them. Wethank God for you.

It was nice having my sister Fran visit from South Africa ^for a month. She was here in April and we celebrated the9th anniversary of my Itmg transplant. God is good. Teri Kand I and Mom and Dad all appreciated Fran's help and B 1

In an effort to keep the supporters, donors and churches more informed ofthe newmission recruits, opportunities and needs of Outreach International, we havedecided to begin publishing a regular newsletter with articles from the USASupport Personnel and Directors. It is our hope that this letter will inform andencourage you as you partner with Outreach International in reaching unreachedpeople with the GoodNews ofJesus!

Newsfrom Jonathan Hamilton, President..Teri aiid I both have had a passion and a burden since we

'were kids for missions, reaching un-reached peoples with thesaving Gospel of Jesus Christ. We have both been involved full-

__tmie in mission work since our college years. It has been aprivilege to have served overseas many of those years. Wethank the Lord for all the individuals and congregations for

making it possiblefor us to be the goers as you have been the senders.Due to my health condition, having Cystic Fibrosis which led to a

double-lung transplant 9 years ago, I have had to stay in the United Stales. Teri andI miss the work overseas but we see the need to be here as support personnel to theOutreach International missionaries, as well as recruiters to help and motivate morepeople to go. Teri's experience of 10 years in China and the several years that I'vespent in Africa and Europe, not to mention several other countries we've bothworked in on a short-term basis, have given us some experience to share and use tohelp others.

We are currently keeping busy at the O.I. Texas office with our regularschedules, which have included a few new mission recruits during these past fewmonths. I just had the privilege of speaking at the commissioning service of Ericand Christa Harland, who just left for South East Asia to be involved in BibleTranslation. We have recently had personal interviews with Mary Frank andNorma Caddell who are raising support right now to go to Gulu, Uganda to work inSudanese refugee camps. They will be involved in nursing and of courseevangelism. Another person who we've just interviewed is Dr. Bruce Hacker, whois planning to go to New Zealand in the near future.

We also praise the Lord that my (Jonathan's) last CAT Scan showed nosign of cancer. We thank everyone for their prayers on mv behalf.

Please keep all of these people and other missionaries in your prayers.Again, thank you for your partnership in this ministry.

We love you all,Jonathan and Teri

NewsfromAl Hamilton^ International Director,.,In tlie role of adviser and International Director, 1 can make some

observations which 1 hope will be as encouraging to you who knowthe work of Outreach International during tliese troublesome times inthe present world. Annette and I wish to thank you who supportthis mission and help make it possible for us to financially be able togive some assistance from here in the States (Ft. Worth, Texas area)to new and young missionaries. Our help is like that of older members of a family:

1. We offer some advice for those new workers who are just beginning their serviceoverseas. In August we met with Mary Frank, and her co-worker Norma Caddell. for aninterview to see if they wanted and needed the services of O.I. for their project inUganda. Jonathan ,Teri, Sonja & Dale were here for that also. Anotlier volunteer whoseeks to serve in another part of the world is coming to meet with us here at Jonathan's nextweek. So there has been plenty of work as Outreach continues to grow and expand in it'sministiy to some of the harvest fields.

2. Our advice to new workers, does not stand alone, we also expect to be in Toledo Ohioarea in November to encourage a church in greater mission ministry. Lord willing, - justprior to tlie National Missionary Convention in Indianapolis.

I think it is in place to mention my book, which is with Annette's great help, now in thepublished stage, "The Unholy Union-Church and Slate", which is a collection of articles fornew mission recruits, mission major students, as well as for colleges and campus ministrystudents who hope to go overseas.

This book is the result of several years work, when we were in the classroom withmission students at Bible colleges, and saw the need for making our information available tomore of the Christian public. It can be ordered at any book seller (Barnes-Noble,Amazon.com or from the publisher, www.iuniverse.com). It will give our supportingchurches and friends some idea of my personal views of the urgency of missions today.

Our present and great need for O.I. in Sudan, is really the work of Dr. Mike Smith, ourO.I. Project Director for Sudan. Dr. Smith has announced an urgent need for help withyoung students and survivors of the war and atrocities that have plagued that country. Pleasecontact Dr. Smith, (ph. 817-354-1901 or e-mail him at [email protected]) about this greatneed and how O.I. is involved with the many lives of those suffering for Jesus inthat country.

I won't offer more in this brief news-line, but please pray and help in this time, while itis still today, "for the night comes, when no man can work.." Jesus said.

Sincerely, Al & Annette Hamilton

From the Bethelj Missouri Office,,,It's that time again... we are preparing for the National Missionary Convention and arc in the process of updating ourOutreach International 2006 Booklet along with a FoyverPoint Presentation that we hope to use at our booth. Thisrequires brief descriptions and updates on the different mission projects of Outreach International. Those of you who are2006 donors and supporters will be receiving this Booklet witli your Year-End Receipts the first of the year. Al willshare on "The Persecuted Church" in a Sunday morning workshop at 9:0()am at the National Missionary Conventionin Indianapolis, while Jonathan and Sonja will be sharing a workshop "Where in the World are You?" on Saturday,Nov.lSth at 4:00pm. Outreach International's Annual Meeting will be held at Monrovia Christian Church Family LifeCenter in Monrovia, Indiana on Sunday, November 19th at 4:00 pm. We hope that we will have the opportunity to seesome of you at the Missionary Convention and in Monrovia, Lord willing!

Jared Hla has started his work alongside his dad, James Hla in Thailand and Eric & Christa Harland are settling intheir new home in East Asia. Dale and I had the joy and privilege of meeting with Christa Harland's parents, Stan &Myrna Franke, to hear about their trip to East Asia as they accompanied Eric & Christa to their new home and spenttwo weeks there helping them settle into tlieir new surroundings.

We consider it a great privilege to be a small part of yvhat Outreach International is striving to do in missionendeavors around the yvorld. Thank you for making tliat possible!

REFUGEE CAMPS IN GULU UGANDA

Two ladies are going to Uganda, East Afirica to serve in Sudanese refugee camps.Praise God for the burden on their hearts and desire to serve God in this part of the world.Mary Frank and Norma Caddell are excited about what the Lord has in store for them. Both of them are nurses and will be able to use those talents and abilities to help the peoplein a physical way as they share the Gospel of Christ with them. They will be associatedwith a local mission called Favor of God Ministries. Helping start a prayer ministry amongthe people in these refugee camps is one way they plan to minister to these people. Obviously the need is great; these people have fled Sudan due to the Islamic government andtheir terrible oppression and persecution of non-Muslims. Mary and Norma are from atown just south of Dallas. We, Outreach International, are pleased to have had the chanceto get to know them and be able to help them do this work that is so desperately needed. We are excited, as well, as to what the Lord has in store for them. Please pray for Maryand Norma as they are raising support and hoping to go at the beginning of the summernext year. Don't forget the persecuted church in Sudan and many other parts of the worldas you pray.

NEW ZEALAND, A MISSION FIELD?

Dr. Bruce Hacker and his wife, Tina, are making plans to go to New Zealand.Dr. Hacker has done a lot of research and has found an un-reached people group there. There is currently emerging a new harvest field of evangelistic opportunities in New Zealand as a second wave of un-churched and unsaved people migrate from Southeast Asia tolive and work in New Zealand. Even though there are several kinds of mission organizations that have a base in this country, they are not targeting these people specifically, as faras we know. Dr. Hacker came to us with this vision and goal to reach these people. Wemet with Bruce and his wife last month and feel good to be able to help them do this workas God leads them. Their first trip over there will be to spend a few months to do a lot ofsurvey work and preliminary work. He eventually wants to bring short term people over tohelp in evangelistic crusades, door to door evangelism, and spreading the Gospel withwhatever means available. As they raise support and make plans to go next summer of2007, please keep them in your prayers.

OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH OUR MISSIONARIES IS VITAL

Many books have been written, college courses have been taught, sermons havebeen given, conventions have been held, all about missions, missionaries and the thingsthat they may go through. They are people just like you and me who have left their homes, and families and have taken residence in another country, culture, and usually languagegroup. They have a lot of obstacles to overcome as they make friends with the people andshare the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them. Sometimes it takes years and other times ittakes just weeks to see their first convert. It depends on what God wants to do with us. Itis all God in them and through them. One may plant the seed and one may water but it is

Godwhogivesthe increase. Some go and some send, but we mustall be a part of thejob.Being out of their "Comfort Zone", missionaries can be more vulnerable to all kinds of things, from bad

health to the need for fellowship with believers. They go through great times like you can't imagine and they canalsogothrough tough times likeyou can't imagine. God and Hisgracebrings themthrough bright and shining in theend, as He does with us all. May the Lord be glorified as we Go and as we Send so Christ can be known to all theworld. r ^^ r-7-r -T—T-T

We have had a lot happening this past two to three months with O.I. mis-sionaries. Mostly exciting things but also some very sad things. We want you to - - -pray for Josh and Susan Sanchez, our missionaries in Manzanillo, Mexico. - -Their little boy Jared, who was bom in May with heart trouble, died this pastmonth in Mexico. They wrote in an email, "God did not take our baby away.God truly blessed us with a beautiful and vibrant baby boy for 3 months. He was not ours to keep, we were only stewards of God's blessing. We ^ W-\cannot say it doesn't hurt, because it does. But we knew this was a possi- 1̂bility, and we thank God for every single day we had him.". Josh and Susan :are here in the States for a short visit but are planning toreturn soon to Mexico to Icontinue their work with the new church plant there. Continue topray with us for Jos|| Susan 3nd Jaredthem as they go throughthis h^d time. We are proud of their faith and their work.

Bill and Anne-Caroline Baird in France just had their fourth child onSeptember 8^. Her name is Meline Grace. We praise theLord for this new life. The Bairds and Karen Richardsoncontinueworkingwith the church and university students in Poitiers,France.

Stacy Garner had a great intemship, this summer in South Africa. Vacation Bible Schools were held, andmany othermeetings. All the interns weregreat. Pete and Fran Laughren and otherlocal evangelists andchurcheswere so glad to have them there.

I enjoyed speaking at the commissioning service for Eric and Christa Harland in St. Joseph, Missouri inJuly. They are in Asiasetting the groundwork to eventually startBible translation for a people group thathas yet tohave the scriptures in their own language.

Dr. Mike Smith continues to work with several evangelists in Sudan, helping provide funds for them topreach and teach fulltime. He is also currently involved in medical work in Sudan. We also are needing funds tohelppayfor some air travel from Nairobi, Kenya to Sudan thatwas madeby our team lastyear.

Many things have been going onwithourother O.I. missionaries as well. Thank you forremembering themall in your prayers.

I have traveled some thispast couple of months. Teri and I were in Clayton, Oklahoma where we spoke at achurch three weeks ago. Weenjoyed thepeople there. Thepastseveral months havebeena busy time withorientations and ministry reviews, andgetting to know several newrecruits. It hasbeengood to haveso many people cometo us. My health has been great and I may have my ileostomy reversed next month if myCTscan comes out clearagain. PTL! Teri and I have a need to share with you. I have two medical insurance policies. One is a high-riskmedical insurance that covers conditions that are not pre-existing. I also have state medical insurance that reallyhelps us a lotwith any medical bills related to my Cystic Fibrosis, which includes Transplant; however, to qualify forthis program ourpersonal income has to be lower than $2,000 a month. This is the reason that Teri is working onlypart-time. This is workable only because, as the president and stateside staf^ I can have mission expenses and medical expenses taken from our support and paid tlvough the mission organization. Outreach International. However, this past year has been extra tou^ because of my two surgeries lastNovember and six months of chemo, CT andPETscans etc. etc. We havehad to put my insurance premiums on creditcards and otherco-pays and small amountsofmedical things that the insurance does notcover. Both ourinsurance premiums and monthly co-pays formeds total $1,115 monthly. We are therefore needing an extra $1,500 permonth to exist and catch up onsome bills. If youcan help one time ormonthly, itwould be a blessing. We are looking at other insurance options, butdon't think anything willturnup, even through Teri'sjob. With my extensive pre-existing medical conditions, Cystic Fibrosis, LungTransplant, Diabetes, andnowCancer, no insurance company wants anything to do withme. Please prayabout thisneed withus. Feel free to contact us if youhave any questions. We continue to thank you foryour partnership in thisministry.

I was glad to have beenable to go to the missionary convention in Indianapohs and also beat the Outreach International board meeting this year. My health did not permit me to attendeither one the past two years. It has been great to be able to get out and travel and be healthyenough to get back into recruiting etc. It was a blessing to share a workshop with mysister Sonjaat the missionary convention. It was also good to have several of our missionaries there who arepreparing to go overseas this next year. Mary Frank and Norma Caddell, who are planning togo to Gulu Uganda next month, were there. The Ulibarri family was there and are makingplans to return to Equatorial Guinea West Africa in thenext month or two. Patrick Mahoney isalso planning to go to Equatorial Guinea this upcoming summer, Lord willing his funds come in. Itwas also a blessing to have Beth Waterman at our annual O.I. meeting and share about the workshe is involved in in Calcutta India. We had a lot of people come by the booth asking about O.Land theopportunities wehave for service overseas in the various countries that weare currently in.Please continue to pray for workers to go and for the workers thatare currently serving overseas.

I had another Pet Scan last week and it was completely clear. Praise the Lord for a goodreport. I will be having another cat scan in two to three months. Thank you again for all yourprayers and support. We had a couple of extra gifts this past month to help with our oiitstandingmedical bills. We appreciate all those who support us and help keep us going. We do thankeach of you that support us financially and are a part of this ministry in that way.We couldn't do this without you. There is still a need to get caught up with those medical bills.Thank you ahead of time if the Lord leads you to help in that way.

We are making plans to do some traveling in the near future. We would like to be able toget intothe colleges to talk to young people about mission work. There are still around 13,000un-reached people groups in the world that need to have the Gospel of Christ takento them. The need for workers is still as great as it has been for many years. Wearehoping to getinvolved in at least one of these im-readied areas and get a team in there to plant a church. Praywith us about doing all we can to get the job done. A preacher friend of ours. Rich Castle, ismaking plans to go to India for a trip to survey a couple of these people groups. Wehave a contact there in India that we hope will be able to help us in this endeavor. Rich is makingplans for his trip to bemade in January, Lord willing.

We are busy as always with all the logistics of keeping our missionaries on the field. Weare also trying to motivate churches, and individuals to bemore involved in missions. We hope wewill be able to make the most of the opportunities given us, as funds are available for travel etc. Aswe wake up each day, we know that the Lord has something for us to do in service to Him. It is sogood to belong to Christ. May we be found faithful in doing all we can to let the whole worldknow ofthe saving power ofJesus. To God bethe glory. Great things Hehas done.

First of all, Teri and I would like to wish all of you a very Merry Christmastliis year. We hope your celebration of the birth of Christ is a blessed time withfamily and friends and that God may use this time to reach out to those who do notknow Him. We also hope your Thanksgiving was joyous as Teri and I were able toenjoy our time with Dale and Sonja up in Bethel Missouri, it was great to get out ofthe concrete city and enjoy the outdoors, sunsets, and even hanging out at the farmwith livestock and tractors. A good time was had by ail.

Teri and I have had a great couple of months. It has been a busy time; wehave enjoyed being busy in the Kingdom. I know it might not seem such a greatthing to most, but being able to be physically well enough to travel and speak andeven feeling good enough to talk and visit with recruits has been a blessing. Wepraise the Lord for health and strength that comes from above!

We have been out of town most weekends this past two months. Some ofour travels have consisted of a mission fair in Chickasha Oklahoma, visiting .someof our new missionaries in Waxahachie Texas, (Patrick Mahoney, Norma Caddell,Mary Frank, the Hacker family, and the Ulibarri family), visiting friends in Long-view cast Texas, and attending the missionary convention in Indianapolis, whereSonja and I shared a workshop. Our annual O.I. board meeting went very well. Wethank the Monrovia Christian Church just outside of Indianapolis for allowing us tomeet there.

Teri continues to teach international students at the University of Texas atArlington. This gives us opportunities for outreach to people of ALL nations. I wasa guest speaker in one of Teri's colleagues' classes a few weeks ago and sharedabout my transplant and my life. We also had ten Chinese professors from Beijingover for dinner one evening. They had many questions about all our scriptures andpictures of Jesus around the house. Teri teaches these professors every week andhas been able to share the gospel with them.

Keep praying for our missionaries. My health is good and they will continue to monitor it with PET Scans, and CAT Scans etc. We pray for continuedhealth so God's Kingdom wiU be glorified through that. We love you and thankyou for your partnership. Evangelism, church planting, Bible translation, campusministry, etc continues to go on tlu-ough those we keep on the field. Praisebe to the Lord of Lords, and King of Kings.

With Love and Prayers,Jonathan and Teri Hamilton

End of2006 - Beginning ofNew Days...At the missionary convention, it was obvious that much of the seed -sown at colleges,

and a few churches, would bear fruit. The Biblesays, "Herein is my Fatherglorified, thatye bear much fruit; so shall you be my disciples.." John 15:8

As students gathered around the Outreach International booth, we were reminded of the70's when a high level of interest in foreign evangelism encouraged our team of workershere in the States. We have a small staff in this country...whose task it is- getting workersfor the Har>'est ready and excited about un-reached or hard to reach areas of theworld. If those who came to us at the convention (some who came had been contactedearlier in the year), get to see the fulfillment of their plans and expectations, there will be anexpansion of Outreach International's work that will exceed what we have seen in the pastfew years. Already thereare workers in 15 countries, that's about 30 teams(familyunits orsingle workers) on the field whom we now serve. The work in Sudan is expected tocontinue needing our assistance and a new service in India may open in January, when oneof our Advisory board directors- Rich Castle returns from his trip. Lord willing -whichincludes 10 days in a new project that involves some areas classified now as 'unreachedpeople' groups. We have been encouraged by the continued support of brothers and sistersin Christ who have supported God's work in us, for over 30 years, and the interest is onlyincreasing, and the support is not weakened. Our God is walking with us and leading us as amission service ministry into new fields continually. Others will be reporting some of thisnew service, and our up-dated booklet has news in greater detail, so let us know if you wanta copy mailed to you. Annette and 1 continue to be excited about the developments andincreased opportunities in a mission that 'expands without getting big' -as we havealways known that - only God in His way, could build a ministiy for churches to use andmissionary volunteers to find helpful, without building costs, overhead expenses andun-Biblical requirements on the workers. It is happening just as we believed and hadprayed that it would. Simplicity is not out-dated, and Biblical example is not withoutpower, a small start is now becoming a big tool for ser\'ice, with attention on others whomwe serve, rather than on the organization that does the serving. Praise the Lord, because inthese days, such a ministiy is needed- as much as ever before. You who receive this newsletter are tlie ones who will bear the fruit to your account, we are vour servants- for Jesus'sake (2Cor. 4:5).

A.& A. Hamilton - Outreach International (O.I. = Other's-Interests) (Phil.2:17-24)

From the Bethely Missouri Office...It has been a busy coupleofmonths preparing for the National MissionaryConvention- and our

annual board meeting, but M'elJ worth the time and effort. As we visited with college students, fellowmissionaries, old and newfriends at the convention and then sharing with our board of advisors, supporters and othermissionaries at our annual meeting, we were reminded of how privileged weare to be called Children ofGod and then to be His ambassadors to the world! As we get readyforanothernew year, we are reminded ofhow precious time is... thegift ofJesus isfor the world andyet there are so many whohave yet to hear ofHis love!

As we get ready to head in to 2007 (O.I. 's 30th year ofservice), we lookforward to what theLord has in store. Thereare several new missionary recruits that weare working withand contactsyet to befollowed up on. Please prayfor us as we seek to serve the Lordbyserving thechurches,

mis.sionaries and new recruits in world evangelism. We want to thankyoufor sharing in this ministry and ask that youcontinue to prayfor our missionaries, recruits, directors and advisors. Pray toofor thefinancesfor on going projects. We are still in needof$8,248.50 for the Sudan medical supplyflights that were taken last year. The original donorforthis particularproject was unable tofollow through with the $10,348.50 amount. Some ofyouhave already given towardthis need and that has brought the balance down to $8,248.50. Anyamountgiven is helpful. We are so thankfulfor you andyour partnership in missions. We are so blessed to know the Savior who was born in a manger more than 2000yearsago... weare .so blessed to know Him as Lord and to serveHim with you in reaching the unreached with the Gospel ofChrist! Mayyou have a blessedChristmas as you continue in your serviceto the Lord Jesus!
