Trick or Treat Parade
This half page emergent reader can be printed back to back or one sided.
Most pages have the sentences “Here comes a ____ costume. How fun! What is next to see?”
In the blank you can write the color that the child colors that particular costume.
As you can see it works on sight words here, comes, how, is, to and see.
To assemble the book just print, cut and staple.
A trick or treat
parade is on its way.
Colorful and fun
costumes on display.

Creepy Cookie Cutter Match
You will need:Halloween Cookie CuttersRecycled Cereal BoxMarker
Flatten the cereal box and trace around the cookie cutters.
Children will take the cookie cutters and match them to the shapes on the box.
To extend the activity I have the children fill the cookie cutters with pompoms. Then we count the pompoms to see which cookie cutter holds the most.
Rock Halloween
Rock Halloween is great for fine motor skills. Have children line the shapes with small rocks and pebbles. You can also use these pages as play dough mats.
