10. Halloween Outfits from your closet We all like to have a good time at Halloween but it can be hard to look your best in those typical female Halloween costumes and they’re so expensive for something you only wear once a year. Luckily, we have a solution. Mix and match items from your closet to imagine a whole new outfit, which with a little bit of makeup can be all you need to look glamorous, not gruesome. Fairy This is a great versatile look; any colour will work because lighter colours are for good fairies and darker colours are for bad ones. Length is not an issue either as Pinocchio’s Blue Fairy and Tinkerbell have shown us. All you need is a pair of dolly shoes that will match the dress. Now, what is a fairy without her wings? If you feel brave you can make some yourself or they’ll be available quite cheaply from markets or supermarkets. Witch This is so easy; choose a black dress, again any length will do. If you want to shop for black dresses , then check out the selection at Very, where they have over 300 LBDs just waiting to be snapped up by you. There’s no need to worry about a hat, they get lost at any party so what’s the point? Instead, make a big feature of your hair; using some temporary hair dye will liven up a dark look (just make sure it washes out before work). To add some colour into your outfit, grab a pair of bright tights and a belt to match. To finish, add some gothic jewellery and smoky eyeliner. Zombie Bridesmaid/Prom attendee There are certain dresses that you bought knowing you’d never be able to wear them again and now you can; with some white face paint and some fake blood you can make any outfit into one fit for the undead. Just make sure the bride isn’t attending this party, she might not appreciate your creativity.

10. Halloween Outfits from your closet

We all like to have a good time at Halloween but it can be hard to look your best in those typical female Halloween costumes and they’re so expensive for something you only wear once a year. Luckily, we have a solution. Mix and match items from your closet to imagine a whole new outfit, which with a little bit of makeup can be all you need to look glamorous, not gruesome.

Fairy

This is a great versatile look; any colour will work because lighter colours are for good fairies and darker colours are for bad ones.

Witch

This is so easy; choose a black dress, again any length will do. If you want to shop for black dresses, then check out the selection at Very, where they have over 300 LBDs just waiting to be snapped up by you.

Zombie Bridesmaid/Prom attendee

There are certain dresses that you bought knowing you’d never be able to wear them again and now you can; with some white face paint and some fake blood you can make any outfit into one fit for the undead. Just make sure the bride isn’t attending this party, she might not appreciate your creativity.
