Hall of Fame (HoF) is an annual social-educational event organized to honour college students’ efforts chanelled towards addressing various social issues facing their communities. The event is organized DAELIT Group, an events planning and management firm based in Tanzania, Hall of Fame Team and College students.

Hall of Fame was officially launched at Mzumbe University Main Campus in Morogoro, Tanzania on 15th June 2013. Hall of Fame launching attracted the presence of various government officials including the Deputy Minister for Science and Technology; Hon. January Makamba, The Chairman of the Mining Advisory Board of Tanzania; Mr. Richard Kasesela etc.

We prepare a half day-long session for INSPIRATIONAL TALKS between students and successful young professionals from various fields to inspire and motivate students. We then host CAREER FAIR showcasing what various students are capable of doing. The same night we host a networking GALA DINNER for all students and AWARD students who have addressed a particular challenge in their community.

We partner with higher learning institutions to award college students who use their education to address community challenges while still in college. The students are honored within several categories; 1. Entrepreneurship, 2. Arts and Design 3. Human Rights 4. Innovation, 5. Community service, 6. Leadership 7. Environment.

OUR dream TEAM

Our Success Story

Over the course of two years we have been able to EXPAND from Mzumbe University, reaching other higher learning institutions such as University of Dodoma, University of Dar es Salaam, Institute of Finance Management, College of Business Education, etc.

In 2013, partners INVESTED about 4000$ for the project, in just one year the team has been able to atract investment of over 10,000$ to support its activities especially facilitating all identified college changemakers to meet at one place for two days.

Our IMPACT has not just been around the learning institutions in terms of inspiration and motivation but also to the students whose work has been recognized and awarded. It has inspired them to do more and expand their work.

We started with few PARTNERS on board, Clouds Media Groups, PSPF, DAELIT and onspOt magazine. Our partners portfolio has grown to include Cocacola, Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation, TTCL, Mzumbe University, etc.

Educational Partner

Mzumbe University Main Campus, provided Hall of Fame material and moral support. The University Vice Chancellor and Deputy Vice Chancellors have been at both HOF events since its inception.

Public Service Pensions Fund (PSPF) has been the main sponsor for 2013 and 2014. Being the major financial partner, PSPF has also had an opportunity to engage with approximately 700 and 1200 students for the year 2013 and 2014 respectively.
