September 2009 RideathonWe would like to thank everyone who participated in and donated toour Fall Rideathon. It was a beautiful day to ride through the hills.

We had 63 riders, which is a record attendance. In total, we

received $7193.00. The funds raised will be used to purchase new

horses and tack for the riding program.

We are pleased to welcome

Judy Jamieson as our fulltime Food Services Director.

Judy has been with us for

several summers previouslyand has now joined us as

Permanent staff.

We would also like to

welcomeRoberta Christianson

back as our HorsemanshipDirector.

Roberta has been part ofour permanent staffbefore as both the horse-

manship director and the

secretary/registrar.

September and October have been busy months for us here at CSR. We have had several different groups staying here doing all the

activities and there are only 10 of us here to do the work that 50 or 60 staff do during the summer. Thank you to the young men andwomen who have made the commitment to stay and help us host our Fall retreat groups.
