The 2006, 2011, and 2016 Census from Statistics Canada

SuperDemographics 2017 from Manifold Data Mining Inc. The most recent Census was conducted in May 2016. Statistics Canada has indicated that all the 2016 census results will be released before the end of 2017. Location

Haldimand County enjoys a central location with first-class access to vast North American markets. Within its borders, the County includes Highway 3, Highway 6, and Highway 54, with the latter two connecting to the 400 series highways and providing strong east-west and north-south access across the province and into the United States. Climate

Table 1 illustrates precipitation levels, average and extreme temperatures for 1961-1990. These are baseline, historic averages, used in analysis by Environment Canada to show warming trends on a year by year basis.

Figure 2 shows warming trends across Canada. The map indicates that in 2016, Haldimand County and Ontario experienced average temperatures that were approximately 1.5° C above the baseline averages (defined as the mean over the 1961-1990 reference period).
