Much like digital software titles, our eBooks are redeemed with a unique code. That means that you can deliver a product to a customer via email, text, or a printout, without having to worry about files, plug-ins, or extra software at your point of sale. Hundreds of digital titles are available to you now via Digital Retailer – the same website and account you already use to purchase digital single-sheets!

Browse through the pages that follow for additional details on how Hal Leonard Digital Books work in conjunction with our Digital Retailer program. If you already purchase sheet music singles with a Hal Leonard Digital Retailer account, there is no new sign-up required to access Digital Books.

Find Digital Books on Digital Retailer

Our growing catalog of Digital Books includes some of the most popular titles you already sell in physical formats. You can find a full list of digital titles by browsing by format in the navigation bar on the left side of the Digital Retailer homepage.

The Hal Leonard Digital Books format appears at the end of the dropdown list. Digital Book titles will also appear in regular search results along with single sheets.

Clicking on the format loads a list of all available titles. This list can be sorted by popularity and release date and it can be further filtered with the “Refine Search” tools in the navigation bar on the left.

Clicking a Digital Book title brings up a digital sample of the content with details, “Add to Cart” and “Purchase Now” options in the left navigation bar.

Sample media is playable from Digital Retailer without any need for special plugins or software, allowing your customer to appreciate the quality of the product and content.

Digital Books flow through the same shopping cart system as single sheets and can be purchased at the same time and in quantities where needed. Hal Leonard offers a 30% discount for Digital Books through Digital Retailer.

Note: final cost is only displayed through email order confirmations to prevent the unintentional sharing of information with consumers at the point of sale.

Upon checkout, Digital Books are delivered as a unique code that is redeemed through Hal Leonard MyLibrary (halleonard.com/mylibrary). There is no file that must be delivered to your customer, just simple text!

Clicking on the access code link to the right of the purchased title brings up a printable PDF that can be emailed or printed for customers. This gives simple instructions on redeeming the Digital Book.

Ordering Digital Books on Digital Retailer

Your customer’s Digital Book collection is stored in their account on Hal Leonard MyLibrary. They can be accessed from anywhere on any device without the need for plug-ins or special software. Note that codes can only be redeemed once and are locked to the registrant’s MyLibrary account.
