She represents the best of the Charolais breed with style, conformation and depth of body–a true brood cow. Notice the Miss Abe de Paris 182 cow on the sire side. This was probably the top milking cow in our herd. Any time “182” shows up in female pedigree she is tagged a “keeper”. This heifer is double bred “182” as “614” on the dam’s side is a daughter of “182”“404’s” grandam, Miss Van Gogh 551, also was a top producer in the herd. She was a big, strong cow with great depth of body. We have retained quite a few of her offspring. We have had a closed herd cow herd for over twenty years with every female being bred and raised here at the ranch.
