Gwinear-GwithianParishCouncilintendtoprepareadesignguide

whichwillhelptomaintainthequalityoftheenvironmentofthe

Towansandassistthosewithaspirationstoimproveorrebuildtheir

plotsandbuildingstodosowithanawarenessoftheopportunity

theyhavetocontributetothelongtermidentityoftheTowans.

TheParishCounciliscommittedtopreparingaNeighbourhoodPlan

forthewholeParish.

NeighbourhoodPlanningisanemergingareaoftheplanningsystem

whichofferscommunitygroups,representedthroughtheirParish

Council,theopportunitytohavemorecontroloverdevelopmentin

theirarea.

Gwinear-GwithianParishCouncilhaveidentifiedtheTowansas

anareaparticularlysensitivetochangeanddeservesspecialattentionwithintheNeighbourhoodPlaninordertosafeguardthe

valuesofthecommunityaswellasenablingnecessarychanges

andimprovementstotakeplace.
