It's celebrated on November the 5th in
England and some other British countries.
There are fireworks, parades and bonfires
where the people burn effigies of Guy Fawkes.
It commemorates the night of the 5th of November in 1605, when Guy Fawkes
tried to blow up the houses of
parliament: he wanted to restore
the Catholic rule to throne of England,
but he didn’t succeed. He was
arrested and then executed.
