Benefits of the technologySignificant reduction in amount of filler particles
» Lower costs of materials» Retaining polymer properties (e.g. flexibility, stickiness)
Can control particle structures through electric fields» Anisotropy / higher uniformity / patterns
Wide range of materials possible» Sticky / flexible / hard / soft / transparent films» Conductivity can be tuned by the type of conductive particles
Can be implemented in a variety of process technology» Roll to roll production is cheap and fast» The process may be introduced to existing production lines

Production
Continuous production has been demonstrated on our pilot roll‐to‐roll machine (R2R).
Further scale‐up to high volume production mostly an engineering issue.
The technology opens for other production techniques, e.g. extrusion, but this has not been explored by CondAlign.
