STUDY ABROAD PROGRAMME (SAP)

In an era of globalization, it is imperative for a University to provide a global diversity exposure to its students so as to prepare them to meet

the challenges of this globalized world. Amity University also augments the principles and teachings of mutual respect and understanding

for each other's culture, tradition, customs and beliefs. This helps in bringing a global perspective from different nationalities on several

important issues in the class discussions.

Amity University has taken major strides for enhancing internationalisation by increasing its international student population. Students from

over 27 different countries viz: United Kingdom, Japan, Dublin, Chile, Congo, Kenya, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bahrain, Libya, Gambia,

Mauritius, Sierra Leone, Bhutan, Iraq, Nepal, Cambodia, Nigeria, Yemen, among others are studying here. Office of International Affairs, a

dedicated department for International Students and Study Abroad Programs focus on developing student talent by creating a sense of

togetherness through various activities or events round the year like Education Tour to International destinations, Foreign National Days

Celebration, Health related Medical Check-ups, Movie Screening, Celebration of festivals like Christmas and exciting excursions to Heritage

I absolutely loved the London study abroad programme. Post our classes, we had plenty of time to explore the place and the culture., Amity London arranged two wonderful trips for the students. One was to BBC and other one to Jaguar. The teachers were a treat to learn from.

Our programme leader, Ms. Ruchi Jain, was always there to help. We also had trips to Madame Tussauds, London eye and sea life aquarium. This was the trip I was looking for, I would highly recommend it to everyone.

Based Credit System, which focuses on leveraging the

MENTOR-MENTEE PROGRAMME

The unique Mentor-Mentee Concept at Amity ensures a

constant interaction between the faculty and the

students. A faculty member is assigned to a group of 5-6

students to counsel them on their academic and personal

concerns. Their experience will help you gain the

confidence and skills you need to be a corporate success.

HOLISTIC PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT Personality Development is an important focus area at

Amity University because a great percentage of success in

life depends on a person's confidence and personality. To

help students in personal grooming, special sessions are

held on business etiquettes, negotiation skills and effective

communication. Various workshops are held on leadership,

teamwork and analytical skills to groom the future

professionals.

FOREIGN LANGUAGES - FOR THE GLOBAL EDGE Amity provides an international perspective to the

students through the foreign language programs, thus

integrating a Foreign Language course into the

curriculum. Amity students have a choice to select one of

the foreign languages of their choice such as French,

German, Spanish, Japanese and Chinese. The University

also offers other personality development modules like

MCCD - Managerial Competency and Career

Development and ME – Managerial Excellence.

MILITARY TRAINING - MAKING YOU A TRUE LEADER All students undergo a Military Training Camp, in which

they are trained by veterans of the armed forces. At the

Military Training Camps, Amity students imbibe the value

of discipline and a spirit of patriotism, commitment and

perseverance by participating in a variety of activities like

parasailing, trekking, shooting, rock climbing/rappelling,

etc. which test their mental and physical agility.

AUDITORIUMAmity University Gurgaon has 3 state-of-the-art auditoriums with

a seating capacity of over 1500 people. These auditorium acts as a

common ground for students, faculty, and corporate personalities

Seminar Hall with a seating capacity of 300 people. On these
