I am eligible to participate in the said competition, from the State of Maharashtra, according to the norms decided by the National Rifle Association of India. I declare that I am domiciled in Maharashtra State and have not participated from any other State in the NSCC. I have studied the rules of the competition and agree to abide by the same. All shooters who will be using MRA guns must complete all formalities at MRA Office at Worli, regarding use and carrying of guns on or before 20/08/12. They are also required to be in touch with the MRA office/ Manager and co-ordinate the transportation of the guns which they intend to use. Any shooter, who fails to comply above, will not be issued guns at the competition site. (b) I will be using my own Pistol/Rifle and will be sharing the same with __________________________ 5). I hereby give an undertaking that the ammunition issued to me will be used by me at the competition range or the range approved by MRA and will not be sold, gifted or lent to any other person/s.

6) I shall obtain written permission from Maharashtra Rifle Association to represent any other State/Unit/NRAI. 7. I further give an undertaking that I shall represent Maharashtra State in the Team events for which I am selected, by the selection committee. If selected to represent the State in any of the team events, I shall fill in the individual entry for that event in the category for which I am selected. 8. I shall abide by the rules laid down by MRA/MRA Manager/MRA Representative and shall maintain discipline always. I understand and agree that discipline on and off the field is of utmost importance and therefore any act of indiscipline on my part, will make me liable for withdrawal of my entry from the said Competition by the Manager of the Maharashtra Shooting team and further action as decided by the managing committee. 9). I understand that entry form must be duly complete in every respect along with entry fees and must reach MRA office on or before 4.00pm on 26/08/2012. NO ENTRY FORM WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE 26.08.2012. HOWEVER IF THE MRA IS CONVINCED OF THE GENUINESS OF THE DELAY, IT MAY ACCEPT SUCH LATE ENTRY FORMS WITH THE LEVY OF A NOMINAL PENALTY OF RS. 100/- PER SHOOTER AND WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THAT IN CASE OF LATE RECEIPT OF SUCH ENTRY BY THE NRAI, IT WILL BE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SHOOTER TO PAY TRIPLE ENTRY FEE TO THE NRAI. ENTRY FORMS WITH TRIPLE ENTRY FEES MAY BE FORWARDED TO THE NRAI WITH LEVY OF RS. 200/- AS LATE FEE, AT THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SHOOTER. (I understand that three times of the normal entry fee along with entry form duly complete in every respect must reach MRA office on or before 4.00pm on 29/08/2012.) A shooter who puts in his entry for an event for which he is not eligible will be solely responsible and will be liable for severe disciplinary action. Note: 1. in case you have not yet received the NRAI ID 2. Entry fee from out station Unit/Club/District association should be sent by D.D. in favour of the National

Rifle Association of India, Delhi. 3. Shooter must fill the entry form in his own handwriting duly signed and complete in all respect. Incomplete

entry forms will not be accepted and shall be rejected. Shooters furnishing incorrect information /statement/ declaration shall be debarred from taking part in any Championships for a period of 2 years.

DRA’s/Clubs/Institutions-please ensure that each shooter from your unit submits MRA UT . As per the new ISSF/NRAI rules of 2010, all shooters must be in proper Sport Uniform of their respective state during competition and ceremonies. All Maharashtra Shooters must wear proper MRA approved ‘Sport Uniform’ MRA Sports Uniform MRA TRACK JACKET with MRA LOGO – available at MRA office (a) WHITE TSHIRT INSIDE.(b)BOTTOM – BLACK PLAIN TRACK PANT OR FORMAL BLACK TROUSERS (c) WITH SPORTS SHOES – ITEM (a) (b) (c) ALL TO BE ACQUIRED BY THE SHOOTER All shooters must be present for all prize distribution ceremonies and MUST IN THE PROPER UNIFORM MENTIONED ABOVE As per the new ISSF rule on clothing Jeans of all type, pant/shorts with pockets on the outside like Cargo pants, sleeveless Tops, shorts which are above the arm length of the shooter, Chappals and Sandals are STRICTLY PROHIBITED/NOT PERMITTED during competition.

SHOOTERS DECLARATION CUM UNDERTAKING

• I understand that I will be participating in the 2nd Gun for Glory Shooting Championship from

Maharashtra and will conduct myself in a manner of highest discipline and sportsman spirit. My behavior on and off the field at the competition site and the travel thereof shall be of utmost discipline.

• That If I intend to use any of the MRA’s match weapons at the event, I must complete all requisite

formalities in writing well in advance (at least 7 days) by personally visiting MRA’s office at Mumbai failing which I will not be allowed to use MRA’s weapon in the competition.

• That I shall inform MRA office my travel plan in detail intimating train / flight no., time of departure,

time of arrival at venue, hotel name and address + telephone number and mobile number. It is my responsibility to keep the manager informed of change, if any.

• I understand that it is MRA’s policy to give priority to higher ranking shooter to choose detail & lane

numbers, however, manager has the discretion to relax this policy. Allotment of details and lanes is done at the Managers meeting which normally takes place in the evening every day at the competition venue. I undertake to attend all such meetings and obtain detail number and lane number which are allotted to me in writing by the Manager and / or Dy. Manager(s) on my competitor card.

• I understand that no shooter of Maharashtra shall occupy any lane of any detail allotted to

Maharashtra State unless and until he has been allotted that particular lane and detail number in writing by the manager on shooters competitor card. I undertake to occupy only the lane and detail which is allotted to me with endorsement of such allotment on my competitor card.

• I understand that team entries are to be submitted one day before the beginning of particular event. I

must be physically present in town and must appear before the manager before 3pm failing which my name will be removed from the team entry and team will be formed with next ranking shooter who is physically present and available at the competition site.

• I will be present for and dressed in the ‘Sport Uniform’ approved by MRA for all prize distribution ceremonies , also during the matches and training WITHOUT FAIL . I am aware that jeans of all type, sleeveless clothes,chappals, and sandals are strictly not permitted and therefore mist not wear it on competition site.

• I am aware that I must be present during the victory ceremony and shall accept my medals

personally. In case I am unable to do so for reasons beyond my control – I will take prior permission from the manager justifying my absence from the victory ceremony. Absence of medal winners at the time of victory ceremony is viewed as very serious indiscipline act and shooter is liable for serious disciplinary action.

• During competition I will conduct myself in accordance with the ISSF / NRAI rules. I will not in any

way use any unfair means to increase my scores. I understand that in the case that I am found guilty of cheating/using unfair means I will accept the verdict of the NRAI and / or MRA.

• In the event of breach of any of the above conditions, I am liable for the disciplinary action and the

decision taken by the Manager on the spot, in this regard shall be final and binding upon me which will not be challenged by me.
