The GUITAR INTROBOOK assists parents and students new to our program.
We discuss ways people learn the guitar and what to expect from lessons with P.G.S Guitar Schools. We also look at an exercise to develop picking skills and learn some chords and notes. At the end of this book we will combine these skills to play a song. Everything in this course is shown in standard music notation and tab. There is even a demonstrative video to be used at home.

Learning Guitar is one of the most popular instrument choices; it is portable, versatile and comes in a variety of types and sizes suitable for beginners right up to professional players.
The guitar can also produce many different sounds and is used to play a wide range of musical genres including rock, jazz, blues, country, classical and pop.
What is the right way to learn guitar?
There is no right or wrong way to learn music and we believe everyone can benefit from learning a musical instrument. Different people will have different goals, aspirations and expectations of what’s involved in learning the guitar. This also means that different people need different teachers, lesson programs and resources. We hope this course will help you decide that learning with P.G.S Guitar Schools is right for you.
What can I expect when I take lessons with P.G.S Guitar Schools?
When students enrol at P.G.S Guitar Schools they are provided with structured lessons, instant feedback, help setting realistic expectations and guidance on how to refine their goals. If you would like any further advice or assistance for your child or yourself please contact us.

SONG PLAYLIST - To be filled out by the student, listing songs they can play, are learning to play, like or want to be able to play.
STUDENT SONGBOOK - Contains the collection of songs students learn as they work through the program.
