The annual subscription is just £2 and there is a £2 charge each meeting to cover the costs of room hire, refreshments and speaker. Tea/Coffee and biscuits are served from 9.45 followed by the main event at 10.30; usually a talk by a visiting speaker. The meeting fin-ishes at about 12.00 when members are in-vited to use the Cricket Club bar for more chat if they so wish.

The end of the squash season is upon us—the Sunday evening Club Night continues all year round and there is an end of season closed competition. The end of season closed competitions are due to start after the Easter Bank Holiday and currently finals are due to be played on Sunday 6 May There will be two events, the open and handicap. If there are enough entrants there will be a plate competition for each. Entry fee is £2 per competition. This is to enable some prizes to be obtained. Entry forms will be put up on the notice boards but you can also let me know by email ([email protected]) if you wish to enter. Please send name and contact number. If you have any queries please call Simon Lindsey on 07816 835 282 This is a good chance for some of the new members to have a bit of fun and meet others. The draw will be made Easter weekend (Sunday 1 April)
