Which Documents You Need to Submit Online?

For students who are interested in Associate and Undergraduate Degree:

• Passport photograph • High school diploma (a copy translated to Turkish or English) • High school transcript (a copy translated to Turkish or English) • Photocopy of the relevant pages of your passport • 60 % marks (min) in High School • For English degree program applicants: TOEFL score -79 points

(If English is not the first/ official language of the country). If students do not have TOEFL then he/ she has to qualify English Proficiency Exam, which will be held in IAU. Dates will be mentioned at http://int.aydin.edu.tr

• For Turkish degree program applicants: TOMER B1 level required. • Dentistry and Medicine applicants: TOMER C1 level required.

For students who are interested in Master Degree:

• Passport photograph • Undergraduate diploma (a copy translated to Turkish or English) • Undergraduate transcript (a copy translated to Turkish or English) • Photocopy of the relevant pages of your passport • A cumulative GPA of 2,5 (on a 4,0) or equivalent

• For English degree program applicants: TOEFL score -66 points (If English is not the first/ official language of the country). If students do not have TOEFL then he/ she has to qualify English Proficiency Exam, which will be held in IAU. Dates will be mentioned at http://int.aydin.edu.tr .

• Students applying for Turkish Degree program (TOMER B2 Level) • If you know Turkish (You can pass a Turkish Proficiency Exam) • If you do not know Turkish then Apply for Turkish Language Program first at tomer.aydin.edu.tr, as without

having Turkish Language visa students will not be registered to TÖMER.

For students who are interested in PhD degree:

• Passport photograph • Undergraduate and graduate diploma (if not in English, a copy translated to Turkish or

English) • Undergraduate and graduate transcript (if not in English, a copy translated to Turkish

or English) • Photocopy of the relevant pages of your passport • Language proficiency score in one of these languages: English, French or German. • TOEFL IBT (84) if medium of instruction of degree is English • TOEFL IBT (66) + TÖMER C1 if medium of instruction of degree is Turkish

Note: Students who wil l not pass the exam wil l have to study Engl ish/ Turkish Prep School respectively.

Payment

In order to complete online application students should pay 100 USD application fee. After the completion of the evaluation student will be notified for tuition fee. To receive the “Acceptance Letter” all students will have to pay first year’s tuition fee and/or the first installment of it. (In some case you would be requested to pay all tuition fee, which depends on Embassy Regulations of Countries)

How to get visa?

• Online After submitting your online application form you will receive an Acceptance Letter and then contact nearest Turkish Embassy in your country for details on visa process.

• Those students coming from countries, which do not need visa to enter Turkey, do not need to get the student visa as well.

Documents Required to Finalize the Registration:

For students who are interested in Associate and Bachelor Degree:

• Acceptance Letter received from Istanbul Aydin University • Turkish translation of High school diploma and transcript • Notarization of translated High school diploma and transcript from Notary in Turkey or

Turkish Embassy in your country • Health Insurance for one year (compulsory – You will make your insurance paperwork in J

Block with International Students and Staff Affairs. Insurance Costs between 400,00 to 600,00 TRL)

• Equivalency Paper (Denkl ik Belgesi) of High school diploma from Provincial Directorate of Ministry of Education in Istanbul (you will be guided properly on this once you will reach Istanbul Aydin University International Office J - Block)

• Language proficiency certificate o For English degree program applicants: TOEFL-IBT -66 points (if English is not

first/ official language of the country). If students do not have TOEFL then he/ she has to qualify English Proficiency Exam, which will be held in IAU. Dates will be mentioned at http://int.aydin.edu.tr .

o For Turkish degree program applicants: TOMER score – B1 level

For students who are interested in Master Degree:

Things to remember!

• Students cannot change the course mentioned on the Acceptance Letter after arriving the university • Tuition fee will be refunded on certain conditions

o Student could not get the visa o Before the start of the Intake

• Tuition fee will not be refunded if student will get the visa and will not arrive the university

* (Student should apply for refund immediately within 3 months of c losing of Intake)

How to get residence permit?

Students need to apply for Resident Permit within 10 days after arriving Turkey.

For Students of Turkish Degree Program who do not know Turkish and will study the Turkish Language Program they should apply directly for TÖMER and should get the TÖMER visa as they cannot get the resident permit without having TÖMER visa.

Fol lowing are the requirements for gett ing the Resident Permit

• Residence Permit Application Form (Signed) • You need to fill the application form from the following link: https://e-ikamet.goc.gov.tr/ • Original copy and photocopy of passport or passport substitute (the visa page and the pages which are

processed with the pages over which there are identity information and photo) • Four (4) photos (biometric & with with background) • Notification regarding sufficient and sustainable resources for the duration of your stay in Turkey (Bank

Statement or Financial Support Letter from the Sponsor) • New Dated Student Letter (You can get this from F Block Floor -1 after completion of your registration) • One-Year-Valid Health Insurance (You can apply for this after your arrival from the International Students

and Staff Affairs Office) • Criminal Record Statement ( You can get this from the Courthouse near you) • The Payment Receipt for your residence permit card
