CREATING YOUR PROFILE
You will receive you user ID and password by email. Click on the link: learn.wcs.org to access the homepage.
LOGGING IN
Once you have made your way to http://learn.wcs.org/ hover with the cursor over “Welcome” to click on the “Login” link.

Or, scroll down and click the “Login” icon.
Login using your email and the password. If you are activating your account, this information is in your welcome email. If you forgot your password, click “Reset Password” and an email will be sent to you with reset instructions.
Select the profile icon to access your WCS U profile.

The first page in your profile is “User Preferences.” On this page, use the dropdown menus to adjust the language used on WCS U, to adjust the time zone and to minimize the use of pop-up windows to view each click in the same browser window.
To change your language, click on the “Language” dropdown menu and select your language.

CHANGING YOUR PASSWORD
Once logged in, click the profile icon.
Click “Change Password.” Fill in the necessary information and hit “Submit.”
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
WCS U online is supported by any computer running Internet Explorer 7.0 or above, as well as Firefox, Safari 2.0 or above, and Google Chrome.

Finding Courses
WCS U offers over 800 online courses. There are two ways to find courses that interest you on WCS U: Catalog Search and Catalog Browser.
Catalog Search: For finding specific courses.
Catalog Browser: This browser allows you to look through the courses offered in WCS U.

Simple Search:
Hover over “Learning Center” and click “Catalog Search.”
Enter Keywords to find courses then click “Searc

For a more detailed search, click on “Advanced Search.”

Once in “Advanced search” you may use the “Catalog” and “Vendor” dropdown menus to filter your search.

FINDING COURSES VIA THE CATALOG BROWSER Hover over ‘Learning Center’, then click “Catalog Browser.”
Click on the “Wildlife Conservation Society” icon.
Navigate through the Sub-Catalog options. The catalog is organized by WCS: 2020 strategic area.
Click on a Course of interest to you.

ENROLLING IN COURSES Once you click on a course a course description will pop up in a new window. If interested, click the button at the bottom of the description to enroll.
Click “Confirm enrollment.”

ENROLLMENT JUSTIFICATION Enter the reason why you want to take the course for enrollment approval and click “Confirm enrollment.”
AFTER ENROLLMENT You are done! Please allow for 24 business hours for your enrollment to be approved.
You will receive an email notifying you of your pending enrollment.

You will receive an email notifying you when your enrollment has been approved.
Courses are time-bound. Please complete courses within two weeks.
Once you complete the course you will receive a brief evaluation survey by email. Your feedback will help us create “Best Of” course lists and continue to grow and improve WCS U.
