GIVING TO COMMUNITY CARE OF WEST NIAGARA

Involving EVERYONE in our Community Involving EVERYONE in our Community

As a CCWN Donor, your contribution will impact

the life of a local family in need. Your generosity

and desire to promote the welfare of others,

allows us to provide emergency hunger relief and

related quality of life programs to over 1000

people a month!

Cause Driven Gifts

Our Mission is “to provide a bridge between

dependency and self sufficiency” for members of

our community who are living in poverty. Your

contribution will directly impact someone's life!

Tribute Gifts

Recognize someone with the best gift possible: a

brighter future for a child. Tribute giving is

thoughtful and lasts a lifetime.

Donate In Honour of Someone

Make any occasion special by donating in honour

of someone extraordinary. This is perfect for any

act of kindness, seasonal celebration, a birthday,

anniversary or graduation.

Donate In Memory of Someone

Celebrate and remember a loved one, friend or

colleague who has passed by making a special

donation in their memory. Your gift is a wonderful

way to leave a legacy in their name and will help

in our community .

Community Led Events

Since its inception in 1967, CCWN has been the

grateful recipient of proceeds generated by

passionate community members just like you!

Every year individuals who believe in our cause

initiate over 200 fund raising or food raising

events to benefit those we serve. This is an easy

and rewarding way to create awareness and

mobilize West Niagara residents to invest in the

positive transformation of a family’s future.

Legacy Gifts

Your legacy gift safeguards that your hope

prevails for our most vulnerable. Whether you

find CCWN’s emergency hunger relief or quality of

life programs compelling, a planned gift through

legacy giving may be one of the easiest and most

fulfilling gifts ever made.

Gifts of Securities

For information about the simple and convenient

process of making a securities transfer to CCWN,

please contact 905-563-5822.

Investment Options

You may wish to leave your gift unrestricted

allowing us to direct your money towards the

greatest need. Alternatively, you may wish to

designate your donation for a specific hunger

relief, quality of life program or project approved

by the CCWN Volunteer Board of Directors.

Did you know?

A charitable donation is one of the best ways for

you to reduce personal income tax.

A charitable tax receipt will be issued for donations

over $10.

A donation of $1,000 to CCWN would reduce your

tax or increase your refund by $361.

The refund generated on the first $200 of

donations would be at 20% however once your

total donations to all charities exceeds $200 then

the refund percentage becomes 40%.

The Donation Credit is a non-refundable tax credit

which means that you have to be paying tax in a

year for the refund to be generated.
