The benefits we have gained from the Academic Reputation Da-taset have made its acquisition so worthwhile that we are plan-ning to invest in it again. It has provided a better understanding of who is saying what in the disciplines, and more importantly, who is not saying what, and that will allow us to be a lot more strategic in the future”
QS Stars has […] illuminated a plethora of activities that we need to review in order to retain our place in the top 100. We found that the exercise of going through the Stars […] is very useful in helping us to identify gaps in the information we have, and find ways of obtaining it”
We purchased the Academic Reputation Dataset because we wanted to get insight on what was driving our performance in the reputation rankings, and more detail about how the rep-utation [indicator] works. We also sought to understand our institutional reputation at a subject level to understand which disciplines are driving our overall performance, so it has been really useful to have this extra piece of information to see how we are performing on the global stage”
