What is IR (Intelligent Recording)?

Intelligent Recording is an advanced timer recording feature that smartly catches your needs. Once you choose a show in the program guide and select Intelligent Record, it not only reserves the selected show for recording, but it also makes timer recordings for all other episodes of the show that can be found on the EPG. Conventionally you could set a timer recording on EPG, but then you had to manually find each series in different broadcasting time and day. Intelligent Recording does it all automatically. It searches the selected show’s upcoming series by the same program name and makes reservation for all of them, so you can catch up entire occurrences of a show whenever they’re on, and in more convenient way.

How to set Intelligent Recording

You can set Intelligent Recording as follows;

1. Press the GUIDE button to display the electronic program guide (EPG).

2. Highlight a show you want to record with the navigation buttons.

3. To make intelligent recording, press the buttonon the selected show, then the letter IR is displayed in blue circle.

4. If you want to cancel the timer, press the OK button.

At the same time you set the IR on your favoriteshow, the receiver will automatically detect the same name on the EPG. And then, on all other episodes of the show, the letter IR in gray circle appears to indicate they are automatically scheduled to be recorded.

NOTE • You can check the reservation list by pressing

the button on the EPG.

• IR is applied only to the shows properly provided on the EPG.

• IR can record up to 4 programs simultaneously

that start at the same time.
