WelcomeTo the Fashion Capital of ScandinaviaCopenhagen Fashion Week AW13 is here, brimming with reinventions of autumns fashion!

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the fashion capital of Scandi-navia — this time presenting no less than 45 shows on the runway, three fashion trade fairs, numerous showrooms and hundreds of fashion events across the city. A potent mix of household names, rising stars, avantgardists and purveyors of classic styles pack this season's fashion show schedule with loads of sartorial punch.

This fashion week, we're especially excited to present the launch of an independent kids' show- and event schedule, which will improve the service for children's fashion media and buyers. You can see the kids' show- and event schedule on page 46.

Another great piece of news this season is the introduction of Defi n-ing Scandinavia, a fair within design, interiors, and lifestyle. The fair, which is located at Øksnehallen, adds to the story of a strong Danish and Scandinavian design tradition.

In this booklet you'll fi nd all the essential information you need to absorb Copenhagen Fashion Week's varied o! erings of fashion. If you'd like more information on shows and trade fairs, as well as the latest runway images, videos, and schedules, please visit www.copenhagenfashionweek.com.

Recommen- dations To make the most of Copenhagen Fashion Week, we suggest you also check out what the city of Copenhagen has to o!er outside the heat of the runways. Let this be your guide to a handful of bars, restaurants, and shopping hot spots that you should check out before departing. See you around!

Eat

Nose2tailWell hidden away in a dark corner of the trendy Meatpacking District, you'll find a so-called food pub that literally serves everything edible from an animal — nose to tail. The owners focus on sustainability and prioritize seasonal ingredients. We recom-mend the big board!

Address Flæsketorvet 13A Copenhagen V Nose2tail.dk

PonyFrom outside, this small restaurant located in Vesterbro does not look like much. Venture in, and you'll be met by a!ordable yet high-quality service and food with a focus on local produce from the tiny island between Denmark and Sweden.

RadioThis lovely place, created by renowned chefs Jesper Kirketerp, Rasmus Kliim and Claus Meyer, means Nordic cuisine, albeit not dogmatically so. Great food and a unique selection of wines make this a winner.

Address Julius Thomsens Gade 12 Copenhagen V Restaurantradio.dk

Frk. Barners KælderIf you're looking for authentic traditional Danish cuisine, Frk. Barners Kælder is worth a visit. The basement is covered with dark pan-els and red-checkered tablecloths, perfect for a quick lunch and a “snaps.”

Address Helgolandsgade 8A Copenhagen V Frkbarners.dk

GeistFamed chef Bo Bech is behind this place, which presents experimental cuisine that's a true delight for taste buds. The expansive menu contains a wide range of smaller dishes.

Drink

The UnionThis atmospheric speak-easy cocktail bar is hidden behind a black door with a gilded ringer. No sign, no address. Venture in at your own risk.

Address Store Strandstræde 19 Copenhagen K theunionbar.dk

Ourselves AloneIn the cozy space Ourselves Alone, you can't expect to barge right in. Ring the bell and venture into a bar with excellent service, a welcome drink, and delightful classic cocktails. And the best part – they are open every single night

Address Badestuestræde 17 Copenhagen K ourselvesalone.dk

LidkøbThe mixologists behind popular cocktail bar Ruby have opened this new three-floor bar in Vesterbro. A cozy interior with nods to the building's 18th century history makes this a winner.

Address Vesterbrogade 72A-B Copenhagen V

Byens KroSick of fashion parties? Then head to this popular pub in central Copenhagen, where true fashionistas go in exile from all the cheek-kissing. You'll find people from the in-dustry but without the fashion atmosphere.
