• Signal-to-noise ratio (the difference between theteacher’s voice and the background noise)- ± 15 dB at the child’s ears

• Unoccupied classroom reverberation time not greaterthan 0.6 seconds in classrooms ≤ 10,000 ft3 or0.7 seconds in larger classrooms ≥ 10,000 ft3 and≤ 20,000 ft3
