Purpose of the Duro-Last FM Assembly Worksheet: This worksheet was created to be an aid in searching through the Factory Mutual RoofNav database of approved Duro-Last assemblies. It will speed up the search process by allowing the user to filter fields to create a list of assemblies that fit their design requirements. It can also provide a summary of individual assemblies for display, or for print.

Limitations of the Duro-Last FM Assembly Worksheet: 1. This worksheet is a summary and is not meant to replace the RoofNav database. Due to the extensive

nature of the RoofNav all the details are not possible to be included in a spreadsheet format. The RoofNav database must be used to verify accuracy of data and details contained in "comments" and "view" links in the Assembly Details should be viewed by user.

2. It should also be noted that listed assemblies approved by Factory Mutual may not meet Duro-Last's minimum specifications.

How to get our Duro-Last FM Assembly Worksheet

1. Go to www.duro-last.com

a) Click on the “Contractor Portal” button upper right hand corner

2. Log in using your Email Address and Password for your Existing Account

a) If you do not have an account follow the directions to create one.

3. In the contractor portal, hover your mouse over the "Engineering" Tab in the navigation bar near the top of the page.

a) Click on "Resources (Forms, NOA's, etc.)"

4. On the engineering resources page

a) Scroll down to find "FM, UL, Florida Statewide / Miami-Dade NOA's"

b) Or click the "Jump to" link near the top of the page

5. Click the link "Duro-Last FM Assemblies Worksheet"

• The worksheet will begin to download automatically

• Once download is complete you may save it to wherever you choose on your computer.

• The data within the worksheet will auto-update as changes are made to the Duro-Last database.

Note: When you first open the worksheet Excel will open it in "Protected View" because it is from an internet location.

1. Click on the "Enable Editing" button in the yellow bar at the top of the page.

2. Click on the "Enable Content" button in the yellow bar at the top of the page.

3. The worksheet will now begin a download to update data.

Notes on navigating the workbook:

Use the five tabs at the bottom of the workbook to find the sheet for your specific application.

The "All Active" tab will allow you to search all active Duro-Last® FM approved assemblies.

The column headers across the top of the Specific worksheet contain assembly details. The buttons at the bottom right corner of each header box can be used to filter by assembly properties and/or assembly details.

Search Example: For this example we will search for an accepted assembly using a Duro-Tuff membrane, over an existing BUR (built-up roof), with a steel deck, and is rated for 90 psf (pounds per square foot) of wind uplift.

Using the Worksheet Continued

1. Click on the drop down arrow in the "Deck" Column

a. In the drop down window click the "(Select All)" check box to deselect all Fields.

b. Scroll down to click "Existing Roof - Steel - BUR" check box. This will filter to only display the desired properties.

c. Now only the assemblies that are over

an existing BUR on a steel deck are displayed.

2. Use the same procedure to filter the results for 90 psf of wind uplift.

3. Apply Filter to the Duro-Tuff Field.

a. Deselect the "False" check box to only

display results where Duro-Tuff is an accepted membrane.

Four FM approved assemblies are now displayed. You may scroll to the right to view applicable assembly properties It should be noted that you may also have started in the "Mechanically Attached" if you know your desired securement requirements.

4. Clear the applied filters.

a. Click the "Data" tab in the ribbon at the top

of the Excel window.

b. In the "Sort & Filter" section of the Data ribbon click “clear” to remove all applied filters.

Additional Notes: 1. Clicking on the "FM Approvals"

Logo at the top of the Assembly Lookup sheet will redirect you to the RoofNav login page.

2. Clicking the "Duro-Last" logo will direct you to the Duro-Last Roofing, Inc. website.

Using the Assembly Lookup Worksheet

1. To begin Lookup, click on "Assembly Lookup" worksheet tab on bottom of window.

2. Type assembly number. (Note: The only editable cell is the RoofNav Assembly # input cell, if you begin typing the number will input to this cell. Or, click on input cell.)

a. For this example type "346086-0-0" and hit enter on your keyboard.

b. A summary of the assembly properties and details are displayed.

The Assembly worksheet is designed to create a summary of the assembly details for quick reference to print or save as a pdf.

1. The format of the assembly must follow the format of the assembly number. Specifically the correct number of digits including the “-0-0”.

2. The assembly properties and details on the lookup worksheet are color coded to imitate the color used by the RoofNav website for each assembly detail.

Using FM’s RoofNav

1. Log on to the RoofNav tool by going to https://www.roofnav.com/Account/Login

2. Enter your email address and password for your RoofNav account. Hit enter on your keyboard.

a. If you do not have a previously created account click on the "Register" button and follow prompts.

4. Hit enter on your keyboard and the

results will be displayed.

The RoofNav database should be used to verify results of assemblies found in the Duro-Last FM Assembly workbook.

3. To perform a quick search, when you already know the assembly number you are looking for, enter the assembly number into the input field near the top right of your window.
