Dear Members,

I’m excited for the opportunity to serve you all as the Chapter 74 President for the year 2016 – 2017. This year, let us continue to grow our membership. Wade McNeill has been doing an awesome job with membership and look forward to having new members under his guidance.

I also want to thank Patti Bell for the great job she did as our last year’s President, as well as the rest of the Board.

We lost several members due to cut backs at agency level, but we hope to see them join us for a lunch now and then. With this loss, we’ve also gained members new to the board. That is very exciting and I look forward to them working their magic.

June was a busy month for our chapter. International was held in Nashville, TN at the Gaylord Hotel. We learned a lot of new things, as well as what we can improve on as a chapter. I look forward to shar-ing some of these ideas with you all. The joint lunch between IRWA/AI was also held. It was well at-tended with insightful information regarding demographics and the impact it can have on the right of way industry. This strong turnout indicates how important education is to all of us.

The A&M Education Seminar will be held from August 4 – 5, 2016. I hope to see everyone there show-ing support for our chapter.

Should you have any questions or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact me at [email protected].

Hope to see you all at the July lunch!

Sincerely,

Maggie Schedler Chapter 74 President

2016 – 2017
