Lending a Helping Hand

Abu Dharr reported that the Prophet (saw) said,” Do not disdain a good deed, (no matter how small it may seem) even if it is meeting with your (Muslim) brother with a cheerful face.”

Whenever my subject sees someone with full hands and they are heading for their locker then she opens the locker for them.

This is a noble act because the other person benefited from my subject. This reminded me to always be on the look out for good deeds to do.

Helping

Today I noticed that my partner was helping someone that didn’t get his work. He decided to give some of his time to the other person. He wouldn’t stop helping the person until he understood his work.

The messenger of Allah SAAW said: “ whoever fulfills the needs of others, Allah SWT will fulfill their needs.”

I learned that we should help others with our own time to please them and Allah.

Assisting

Hadith: The Messenger of Allah SAAW said, " Whoever fulfills the needs of others, Allah SWT will fulfill their needs".

Action person did: The action my person did was that when a person didn’t know something about the test, she helped him understand what it is about.

Reflection: My person showed me to be helpful to others when they are in need.

Why is it noble: It is a noble thing to do because the prophet (S) used to always be helpful and kind to others and it is part of becoming a noble character.

Kind and Cooperative Person 1 always cooperates in group projects and is very kind. He always explains things to our peers kindly and doesn’t argue.

“Whoever does not show mercy will not be shown mercy” (Al-Bukhari).

This skill is very important in daily life and it was one of the traits of the prophet Muhammad (SAW).

Generous

My subject is very generous because one Friday I saw him put a dollar in the donation bin in the Masjid

`Adi bin Hatim (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) said, "Guard yourselves against the Fire (of Hell) even if it be only with half a date-fruit (given in charity); and if you cannot afford even that, you should at least say a good word.''[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

This action makes me want to give charity too.

Sympathetic

My secret person is very sympathetic because she offers a friendly ear to people when they need it. In class, I had gotten a test score that was not very good, and was upset about it. My secret person acted very sympathetic toward me. After that I was much happier. This trait resembles a noble person, because a noble person must have sympathy for his fellow believers.

On the authority of Abu Huraira ( may Allah be pleased with him) the Prophet (pbuh) said: “Whoever relieves a believer's distress of the distressful aspects of this world, Allah will rescue him from a difficulty of the difficulties of the hereafter.” ( recorded by muslim)

This action represents mutualism because I was happy after the sympathy my secret person gave me, and my secret partner is benefited because she gets good deeds.
