HISTORY

Since 1968 Grupo Hasar is committed to the integration of the higher technologies. It has its

origins in this year, with the installation of the company Hasler in Argentina, becoming the first

manufacturer of electromechanical cash registers of Argentina, with Swiss Origin capital and

technology. Marketing their products, not only took place in the country, but is successfully

exported to most Latin American countries such as Uruguay, Chile, Paraguay, Brazil, Mexico,

Venezuela, Cuba, etc. During 1974, Hasler decides to withdraw from the Argentine market,

which is why the package is transferred to share capital of Argentina.

With the emergence of the first electronic cash registers in 1978 the company stops making the

Registry Hasler and begins with the representation of Japan's Casio Computer Co, whose

introduction was a success thanks to the high quality of these products. This way began a

strong penetration in the retail market, especially in the supermarket channel, starting the

industrial development in the face and electronic system in 1985, incorporating technical,

systems engineers and graduates of recognized ability.

BEGINNING

Its expansion was such that led to the manufacture and marketing, in addition to cash registers,

among others: Multiline telephone, electronic scales, price verifiers, pin-pads with encryption

keys, gambling machines, conventional printers, cash registers modular and POS-type PC.

The advance in quantity and variety of products developed by the company, coupled with the

decision to always respond to the demand for a clear market trend, determined the progressive

formation of new companies that would allow to support the multiple needs, creating Compañía

Hasar in 1977, Hasar Servicios in 1987, Hasar Sistemas in 1996, Symbar in 1997 and Hasar

Consultoría in 2007. Simultaneously, it is beginning to expand into other countries, with Hasar

Chile in 2000, Hasar Paraguay in 2001, Hasar Mexico in 2002 and Hasar Peru in 2008.

Nowadays, Grupo Hasar keeps pursuing state-of-the-art research and development, always

with the commitment of being par excellence leaders.
