FORIBA is a Mexican company, founded by Don Moises Ortuño Or-tiz in the city of Tulancingo, Hidalgo that was created and developed by him and his family. All of our products are made with the highest quality standards, pro-cesses and world-class manufacturing technology. We have a produc-tion capacity to supply wholesale orders on short periods of time. In Foriba we merge the highest quality and hygiene within each piece of cutlery that we manufacture.

OUR PRODUCTION PROCESSES

What does disposable “food grade plastic” means?It means that the material and composition of the polymers and resins used in our products meet national and international official standards and speci-fications to foodhandling.

• Doesn’t transmit toxic substances• Doesn’t change the scents, colors or flavor of the food• Resists wear, impact, corrosion and oxidation• Is easy to descale, wash and sanitize• Has smooth and nonporous surface

All of our processes are certified under official regulations, using high technology equipment to achieve the cleanest handling process. Also, all of our cutlery’s design has been manufactured with the appropriate mor-phology to the meet the needs of our users. Using polypropylene-based food grade and 100% virgin materials as well as food grade colorants which we reference to our customers as being chemically similar as those used on food, sodas and gum. The FDA certifies all of our products as lead free. Furthermore, all the cutlery have been designed to be used briefly and be discarded, having biodegradable characteristics of its own in order to pro-mote a friendly reintegration process into the environment.

We are a socially responsible company that has an active and voluntary participation on actions related to improve the social, economic and envi-ronmental needs of its region. We are always looking for ways to optimize our processes, giving our products a special type of added value.
