Every year Akhil thought her reflexes were lightning fast , her aim was true . She alway thought when she grew up , she would be Wonder Woman. That is her destiny.

• One day , Akhil's grandmother came to stay with them. Akhil told her about her destiny . As they discussed her plan, grandmother reminded Akhil that she was Indian.

• Akhil know her skin was the wrong colour, her eyes were the wrong colour, and her legs just weren't long enought.Grandmother did't like the way Wonder Woman dressed. She said if leave the house without putting your skirt on , no one will take you seriously.

• Then they started to think about what an Indian-girl crime-fighter might wear.Truth be told , Wonder Woman looked a lot like put over babies' nappies.

Grandmother suggested that Indian Wonder Woman could wear a lungi.They sketched a lungi over Wonder Woman's legs.

Grandmother mentioned that rolling rotis was like a magic power. Akhil felt sorry for the old Wonder Woman. She imagined her eating her grandmother peanut-butter and jelly sandwiches alone, without a magical grandmother to suggest wearing lungi over her embarrassing sparkly nappies.
