Thank you for your interest in hosting an event or group outing at one of the City of Overland Park golf courses: St. Andrews Golf Club or Sykes/Lady Overland Park Golf Club. The City of Overland Park is very proud to run two of the most popular golf courses in the region, and due to that, group outings and tournaments must meet a few standards to justify the displacement of our regular Patrons. Here are our key needs to reserve public tee times for group events:

• A minimum of two full tee times (4 or 5 players in each time)• Weekend tee times only after 10:00 a.m. • 18-hole shotguns limited to Monday/Wednesday/Friday at 7:30 a.m. or Friday at 1:30 p.m.• 9-hole shotguns on Saturdays and Sundays on the Westlinks at Sykes/Lady• Minimum players for shotguns: 72-99 players for an 18-hole modified shotgun; 100+ players for an

18-hole shotgun; 200+ players for a 27-hole shotgun• A final count for number of players MUST be submitted to the Pro Shop eight days prior to your event

date. Lists of player names and pairings are needed two days prior to your event date.• Contract and deposit submitted to golf course pro shop• Outing fees must be paid prior to the group’s first tee time. Fees must be paid with one check or credit

card. No individual charges under any circumstances.

To help you plan your outings and events, we’ve created some attractive and affordable group reservation packages designed to fit your needs. Please continue through the following pages to see our group outing package options.

If you have questions or wish to schedule an outing, contact the course of your interest listed below.

Tournament Rules & RegulationsDress Code: Proper golf attire must be worn at all times. Bathing attire, tank tops, tube tops, halter tops, mesh shirts, short shorts, muscle shirts and dress of similar nature is inappropriate. Non-metal spikes or smooth-soled tennis shoes will be allowed. Golf Professionals may, at their discretion, allow various other types of golf shoes. We suggest collared shirts for men and appropriate golf tops for women. Denim jeans are allowed.

Signage: Any course signage for your event must be free-standing and approved by the Director of Golf. All necessary standards, stakes or ropes must be provided by the group. The course staff will facilitate signage on the course. Signage should be delivered 48 hours in advance of your event.

Rental Equipment: Golf club rentals are available. The number of sets required, noting right or left-handed, should be advised four days prior to your event.

Special Services: Included in the per-player fees are many amenities to make the day run smoothly. These services can include a registration room, cart signs with golfers’ names, scoring sheets and proximity markers for hole prizes. We also offer tee times every nine minutes and in some cases can facilitate shotgun starts or tee groups off simultaneously on holes 1 and 10, known as the “wave.”

Package fees are based on a minimum of four and maximum of five players per tee time. Outing fees must be paid prior to the group’s first tee time. Fees must be paid with one check or credit card. No individual charges under any circumstances.

The final number of players must be supplied to the golf course eight days prior to the day of the outing. Any reduction of players made after the eight-day deadline is the financial responsibility of the company and/or outing representative. Lists of player names and pairings are needed two days prior to your event date.

Golf Professional reserves the right to make hole assignments for groups playing. Participants arrive at the facility a minimum of 20 minutes prior to their scheduled tee time; and arrive at their assigned first tee box a minimum of 10 minutes prior to their tee time.

Participants must maintain an acceptable pace of play established by the course. If the group fails to maintain an acceptable pace of play, the outing coordinator must accompany golf course personnel to address the issue. Failure to comply may result in said group not turning to their second nine holes, with all fees being forfeited.

Groups that have made group reservations must purchase food and beverage through the golf course and are prohibited from bringing food and beverage. All alcohol must be purchased through the clubhouse. Players may be asked to provide a receipt. Violation may result in the forfeiture of all fees and reservation fees.
